Premiere: Beyonce ft. Lady GaGa – Video Phone Extended Remix
Thanks to Schutzie over at mtvU.com for this premiere of Beyonce’s “Video Phone Remx”. Beyonce shamelessly rips off style icon Rihanna’s much talked about hairdo. It looks better on Rihanna, but Bey is working it in this video. Rihanna might want to step her game up a little.

Beyonce needs to take a break and re-evaluate the direction she wants her music to go. Right now she’s looking DESPERATE. At this rate, she will not be “icon” that she SO desperately wants to be. The coochie-poppin’ was somewhat tolerable while you were single, but I would think after Jay put a ring on it that you would keep those type of dances for Jay’s eyes only, but I digress.

Video is alright. I like the different concepts of style Bey used like the black and white panty get up with all the bangles. Didn’t see the point of Lady Gaga, she looked kinda rough next to Beyonce.

And the vid is just too sexual for me…the blindfolded men, her popping T&A(as usual), and the symbolism..I read somewhere that the water guns represent penises and every time gaga or Beyonce shoot and the gun would squirt water thats representing ejaculation; the grinding of Beyonce on one of the large guns at 1 point in the video represents sexual intercourse.Very interesting and it makes the video make more sense to me anyway
I hate it. I love bey and Gaga but WTF? The song sucks for starters. And Bey was really sexual in this video. I know she usually has sexy videos but she usually keeps the sexual stuff to a minimum. She went all out for this one. And poor Gaga,

Ummm I actually like the video….besides all the different types of guns. I didn’t think that was a necessary prop.
GaGa looked natural which was a first. The dance routine was cool. Some of the hairstyles look like the idea came from pinup calendars back in the day or something, idk.
Overall, it was okay…use of the green screen was definately in full force. Creativity wasn’t its finest in this flick.

This video…wow. I watched it at work and I felt like I was watching some illicit porn. There was so much grinding going on and I was jumping every time I heard footsteps coming! The album was great to me, well, the first disc was great and some of the songs on the second disc that I felt should have been on the first disc, like Scared of Lonely.
I think that after this album, she’s gonna calm her image down. She’s just getting it all out her system, being risque. Who knows, the next album might be Vanessa Williams-ish.
