50 Cent: Through the Wonders of Photoshop and Stage Makeup

Pictures of 50 Cent looking like cracked out cancer patient hit the Internet yesterday and caused a sensation, until it came out that his emaciated appearance was helped along with Photoshop and stage makeup.

Two days ago Curtis was seen with his aunt in S. Carolina where he’s shooting a Roots special for VH1. In the documentary, he traces his family tree (I don’t know why his family tree requires a TV special unless it turns out he’s related to 2Pac or something).

Maybe I’m missing something. What is the point of the photoshopped pic? Was 50 in on the “joke”? Is it me or does some of the post make no sense like some of the words are missing or something….I could be wrong. I did have cocktails last night.

Maybe the skinty pics of 50 were taken during filming of the movie. Since filming has wrapped, I’m sure he’s gained some of his weight back. Who knows how long they’ve been done filming that movie…

i don’t see anything photo shopped about that pic. it’s been awhile since he has been out in public. maybe he stayed away until he looked close to normal again. in the pic on the right, he still doesn’t have the bod he did b4 .but he looks much better then the pic on the left.

I’m glad he’s looking better. In the back of my mind I wondered if it could be a real photo or not. Maybe the skinny picture was taking a few months ago and he’s gaining some of weight back *shrugs*

I heard that this was taken a while back & he has since gained his weight back. So that would explain why 2 days ago he looks the same as before. What would be the point of 50 putting out a photoshop pic of hisself….1 that looked like that. Most people use photoshop 2 improve a pic (except Sandra)!

that was all makeup i dont think the pic was photoshopped though and yes he has gained weight back but he is still about 20-25 pounds off it looks like

There is a show on network tv where yt celeb’s trace their roots. Sarah Jessica, Matthew Broadrick, Phebee from Friends.. What’s wrong with 50 tracing his roots.

And I agree he may have just gained some of the weight back.

I think he actually lost the weight, Whoppi gave him kudos this morning on the view saying that he was taking his craft seriously. I know I haven’t seen picture of him in a min. so he might have just gain some weight back.

I think he is being featured on the show, not given one. Since there is no date on either pic, I don’t know what to think.

There’s also a version on PBS for Black people. Tom Joyner did it and several noted others. Somebody traced their family back to bootleggers, wrongfully convicted murderers and of course, white folks. I cant’ remember what it’s called but that was some TV I’d watch.

@Princess: Yes there was and I believe Professor Gates (the Harvard (?)who got the police called on him) was the host. Me and my daddy would watch it while my mother would breathe heavy….she’s not into stuff like that

they have finished filming the show. he said in an interview that now that its over, he is back to eating and will be normal again in no time. so i dont know where you get photoshop and makeup. this is the samething christian bale did in the machinist.

Sandra, if you READ the interview, 50 clearly stated he has started gaining his weight back. I believe he really did lose the weight. The picture of him looking emaciated is old. It is so rude to question a person’s integrity when you don’t have all the facts.
