When I went with my brother to an ATL strip club a few years ago, we tipped the shit outta them girls and bought drinks. So I get where this stripper is coming from. If Kevin from up the skreet can come in and tip a decent amount, then these celebs can as well. Stingy asses should stay home or go somewhere else if they don’t understand or like how a strip club works.

I think it was the house fee. Also, I think it depends on how many security gaurds you have to tip. I know one night they had Trick Daddy down here at a club, and she had to pay 5 bouncers $25 each. They(the strippers) are dam.n near robbed before they get out the door.

Hell, white folks know how to tip strippers, bartenders, wait staff, etc. It is called etiquette and class. This cheap ninja attitude must go. I tell people all the time, if you don’t have enough to tip, you cannot afford to go – to dinner, the bar and YES, strip clubs.
I agree with eastpointvet and others. If you are so ABOVE strippers, then don’t go there in the first place. If you come in and take a seat and watch, you are SUPPOSED to tip. Even me and my girls tip the times we go to learn moves and have fun, with or without guys. And the strippers are always really nice and cool and just trying to make a living. If you don’t want to tip, stay at home. Would you go to an expensive restaurant and leave $5.00? It is etiquette, no matter what the job is.

ok, see there is a misconception. i thought you go there to watch (the stage show) and buy drinks. if you get something special (such as a lap dance), you tip. but i thought the stage part was primarly free unless they were doing something directed at you specifically. the owner would make money off the drinks and food.

Yes I did say etiquette and class because knowing how to properly tip people falls under that. It doesn’t matter if it were a strip club or a bar, it’s the principle. These individuals work for their TIPS. This is why black folks (some) tend to get chitty service when they go out and wonder why.

My issues isn’t with them not getting paid. I have an issue with a stripper telling somone how much they are supposed to tip because they’re a celebrity or based on the simple fact that they pulled up in a nice car. They should expect them to tip like everyone else…

When I was a waitress, I didn’t get pissed if someone I knew had more gave me a 10% (that was before 15% became standard) tip, I took that shit and kept it moving. If he’s paying for a dance and then tips $200 on top of that that makes him smart imo cause only stupid people throw all their money away like that. I don’t care how much he actually has tipping hundreds or thousands on a stripper you not even taking home for the night is dumb as hell and part of the reason why so many celebs go broke so damn fast cause they waste money of dumb sh*t.
