Upscale hype posted these pics of rapper Rick Ross showing off his yellow gold Rolex Day-Date II watch (estimated $25,000 – $30,000) while chilling in the back seat of a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce Ghost in the trailer for his single “Live Fast, Die Young” off the Teflon Don LP.
Troubled rapper/producer Kanye West also favors the classic lines of the timeless beauty that is the Rolex Day-Date watch. Kanye tweeted this pic of his personal favorite this week on his Twitter page.
I hear that the gold-on-gold Rolex Day-Date is the preferred timepiece of ballers in the ATL. Even the groupies in the clubs have taken to wearing cheap knockoffs of this classic timepiece to impress the rappers and ballers.
Note to the fellas: if her Rolex watch face has scratches on it, it’s a fake.

Does Omarion not realize that pictures like this one invites rampant teh ghey rumors?
From Upscale Hype:
Omarion Twitpic’d this photo (above) of himself earlier this month, presumably from a photoshoot, rocking a heather grey trench styled with the Louis Vuitton Initiales Monogram belt ($420) to spice up the look. Strangely, it doesn’t look that bad and I kind of like it. I’m pretty sure this won’t work for every designer belt and trench coat combination. However, for those of you who like to think outside the box, here is a little inspiration.
