It’s official: singer/songwriter Bruno Mars is now more famous than rappers B.o.B and Cee-Lo, who he wrote songs for.
The singer/songwriter who rose to fame by writing and performing on such songs as “Nothing On You” by B.o.B, was busted at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas early this morning for possession of 2.6 grams of cocaine, according to TMZ.
Be prepared to see Bruno Mars’ fame reach dizzying heights now that he’s got his street cred.
I never heard of Bruno Mars until after the 2010 MTV VMAs (which I didn’t watch). That’s when I learned that the catchy tune I was listening to in my car every weekend was actually a B.o.B. song.
Radio DJs hardly ever announce the artist’s name anymore. I guess they assume everyone already knows who the song is by.
But I had no clue that “Nothing On You” or “Airplanes” were by B.o.B. I had always wondered why those two singers allowed a rapper to ruin their songs. I’m not hating, I’m just being real.
Bruno just released the music video for his song “Just The Way You Are.”
If you have any doubts in your mind that Bruno can throw down vocally, listen to this live acoustic performance of “Billionaire” on the Dick in the Morning Show.
