Rapper Nelly is featured on MTV’s “When I Was 17.” Nelly recalls his life growing up in St. Louis, where he excelled in peewee baseball, football, and jumped to the big leagues of petty theft.

Nelly came to prominence in 2000 with his top ten hit “Country Grammar.” He went on to sell 21 million albums in the U.S. in his career and Billboard magazine named him 3rd Top Overall Artist of the 2000-2009 decade.
