Singer Ciara shows off her curves as she exits a parking structure in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday. Ciara, 25, was seen leaving her doctor's office where she picked up a prescription. The sexy singer tweeted that she was had a bout with laryngitis last week. As usual she looked very stylish in tight jeans, boots and her long locks flowing. Yesssss!
It won't be long before Ciara replaces Rihanna as the "IT" black girl in Hollywood. Ci Ci happily posed with fans before leaving in her custom black jeep.
Rapper Foxy Brown, 32, was among the C and D-list celebs attending BET's Rip the Runway 2011 at The Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC on Saturday (Feb.26). Also in attendance was singer Miguel and rapper Fabolous, who looked so out-of-place amongst the trannies and cross dressers who found fame on reality TV shows and on the Internet.
This is what passes for quality entertainment these days.
Gorgeous singer Kelly Rowland showed a little leg while getting out of her limo in Milan, Italy yesterday. That MCM pouchette is ca-yute!
While we're on the subject of formerly down low celebs kicking open the closet door (see: Chris Brown is Officially Gay), troubled musician Kanye West had a coming out party of sorts yesterday on his Twitter page. He nonchalantly tweeted about his boyfriend problems for all of his followers to see. His next tweet was "Stay positive." I'm sure this revelation will open up new doors for Kanye since the music industry is practically ran by gay men who will appreciate Yeezy's openness and candor. Welcome to the family Yeezy!
No one can ever accuse singer Chris Brown of being a down-to-earth, humble kind of guy. This drama queen does more to attract attention to himself than Sean Combs or Rihanna! Brown, 22, follows in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend by dying his buzz cut hairdo bottle blonde. Brown tweeted the pic to his Twitter followers with the caption: "look at me now." What else will Brown do for attention this week?
Speaking of attention, remember when another website leaked those photos of Rihanna's battered face last week? Well, Brown took to his Twitter page to whine and complain that the pictures were released to sabotage his album which is due to drop next month.
How narcissistic of him. Brown later deleted the tweet.
Willow Smith's 2nd single off her debut Roc Nation album, entitled "21st Century Girl", is already a flop judging from a sample of blogs that reviewed the track. I didn't listen to it because 10-year-old brats who sing off-key don't appeal to me. Willow will perform her new single on Oprah's All-Time Smartest, Most Talented Kids special tomorrow (Mar. 1). Willow will join other children who Oprah has deemed the smartest and most talented -- of course they're all white. There's no such thing as talented and smart black kids in Oprah's world unless their parents are wealthy A-listers.
Last night while you were asleep, singers Ciara, 25, and Rihanna, 23, engaged in a war of tweets on the enormously popular Twitter.com social networking website. Everyone got in on the action, including gossip blogger Perez Hilton and singer Monica, who was attending the LA Clippers vs. LA Lakers basketball game with her family at the time.
Ciara got the party started by metaphorically snatching Rihanna's wig off on national television. Ci Ci, who was a guest on E! Online's "Fashion Police", was critiquing red carpet fashion disasters with comedian Joan Rivers. After Joan ripped apart Rihanna's outfit that she wore to the 2011 Brit Awards, Ci Ci recalled how she bumped into Rihanna at a recent party.
"She wasn't the nicest," said Ciara. "It's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion. And I've ran into her before. But this time it was just really... it wasn't the... most pleasant run-in, so..."
Before she could complete her sentence, Rivers shouted "A BITCH!," as the audience laughed.
Rihanna, who never strays far from Twitter because she always has to know what everyone's saying about her, took to her Twitter page and tweeted:
@Rihanna: "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme"
To which Ciara responded with a veiled threat:
@Ciara: "Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage"
Rihanna quickly followed up with these tweets:
@Rihanna: "U gangsta huh? Haaa"
@Rihanna: "Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of"
At that point, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton and singer Monica took Rihanna and Ciara's sides respectively, with Mo tweeting for Ciara to call her ASAP.
After Rihanna apologized, Perez urged Ciara to accept Rihanna's apology, "Or stay petty and less successful."
The truth is, Rihanna is spiraling out of control and even Rihanna's record label doesn't know what to do with her these days.
I was told by a source that a meeting was called by the higher ups at Def Jam's offices, including Chairman and CEO LA Reid. The subject of the meeting was regaining control of the damaged public image of their temperamental artist. At issue were the rampant rumors of Rihanna's self-harming behaviors, including random sex with male and female groupies.
The meeting ended with everyone in the room concluding that there was nothing they could do to rescue her public image since Rihanna would only end up trashing it again -- as she did last night on Twitter.
Recently I told you that a Def Jam exec reached out to Sandrarose.com with an offer to join Rihanna on tour for a behind-the-scenes exclusive from a blogger's perspective. But I politely declined.
I declined the offer due to all the horror stories that I'd heard about Rihanna's terrible attitude and how she mistreats the people close to her.
After I declined to go out on the road with Rihanna, an unnamed Def Jam exec offers to fly me to LA just for the weekend to surprise Rihanna since she loves Sandrarose.com so much.
In this clip I politely decline an offer from the Def Jam exec to go out on the road with Rihanna.
Ironically, Rihanna now finds herself in the same predicament that Ciara was in years ago when she destroyed her public image while riding high off her "Goodies" fame. At the time, industry insiders said some of the same things about her that they are now saying about Rihanna's attitude.
But insiders now say that Ciara has humbled herself considerably and her career is now on the rebound as a result. Maybe Ciara can give Rihanna some tips on how to humble herself as Ci Ci passes her on the way back to the top.
U.S. President Barack Obama, who calls himself a Christian when it benefits him to do so, has come under attack from the most unlikeliest of foes: the black church.
The Rev. Anthony Evans, who heads the National Black Church Initiative -- a coalition of 34,000 black churches -- is blasting President Barack Obama’s decision to stop defending the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
The Rev. notes that Obama "has violated the Christian faith" by failing to uphold Jesus’ teaching that marriage is between a man and a woman.
DOMA was signed into law in September, 1996 by then President Bill Clinton. The law is intended to uphold and preserve the sanctity of marriage between a man and woman.
Gays, (and other special interest groups) who make up a substantial portion of the left-wing voting bloc, say the law is unconstitutional. Not surprisingly Obama, who was opposed to gay marriage until it came time for him to seek reelection, agrees with them.
Obama's new stance has angered the Rev. Evans who says black churches must "reassess their extraordinary support for him."
34,000 black churches probably won't put a dent in Obama's chances to win reelection. Not unless Rev. Evans and his coalition of churches are able to rally the millions of black, non-churchgoing Kool Aid drinkers to join their protest.
I'm not surprised that black people have soured on Obama after years of drinking the Kool aid. Would it be appropriate for me to pause here and say that I told you so?
Old as sin rapper/producer Dr. Dre finally released this music video for "I Need a Doctor" today featuring Eminem & Skylar Gray. This is the 2nd single off Dre's much-hyped Detox album that was scheduled to drop decades ago. The song is wack, but the visuals remind me of Kanye West's critically acclaimed "Runaway" mini movie. Dre's raps sounds like he was swigging a 40 ounce and smoking some chronic in the booth. He insults gays in the hopes of sparking controversy that will breathe life into this track. But Dre will need a doctor to bring his career back to life if the rest of the album sounds like this crap.
Ciara can't sing to save her life (Bless her heart). But with that bangin' body, she certainly has a career in modeling or at the very least, as a video vixen. Ci Ci took that first step toward her goal by appearing on an episode of 'Fashion Police' on E! Entertainment TV with Joan Rivers.
Ciara couldn't wait to update her loyal Stans with this tweet on her Twitter page yesterday.
Singers Brandy, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott and actresses Jennifer Lewis, Vannessa Bell Callaway, Tia Mowry and Gabrielle Union were among the many lovely celebrities gracing the red carpet at The 4th Annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards Luncheon yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. They all looked beautiful!
Jennifer Hudson attended the luncheon with her adorable son Punk Jr.
Rev. Run's daughter Angela Simmons is getting thick and juicy
I hear that actress and socialite Lauren London is turning down movie roles left and right. Who needs to work when you have an ex-convict baby daddy that's a baller?
Singer Keyshia Cole let her hood side come out on Twitter today. I'm not sure what prompted that outburst on Twitter since I never go to that website. But whatever it was, I hate to see a young mom lose control and throw a tantrum in such a public manner when she normally tweets about God and Blessings. Call me, Keyshia!
Moving on, don't Keyshia and her hubby-to-be, Daniel "Booby" Gibson, look cute on the cover of this tattoo magazine?
Loyal reader Mz. Kim emailed me to explain why Keyshia was so upset this morning. She writes: "In regard to why Keyshia is upset with Mediatakeout. [They] posted some nude pictures from a text message and said that it was her."
Okay, now I remember reading something about nude pics on Twitter yesterday. But me knowing Keyshia, and knowing she doesn't get down like that, I totally dismissed the rumors without even seeing the pics. Why couldn't she ignore the rumors also?
A few years ago, some moron manufactured a fake rumor about Beyonce taking out a restraining order against me. The rumor still persists today. But I couldn't care less. In fact, I joke about the phantom restraining order, because anyone who knows me knows that there is no restraining order. Why couldn't Keyshia just joke about the pics and defuse the situation by taking away their ammunition? I'm just asking.
Precocious Hollywood tot Suri Cruise was spotted gettting coffee with her nanny while in town with dad, Tom Cruise, who is filming "Mission Impossible 4" in Vancouver, Canada. There's a growing debate over whether small children should be allowed to drink coffee. This isn't the first time the child has been photographed with coffee. They say 4-year-old Suri makes regular trips to the coffee shop with her nanny for her morning cup of joe. Some moms don't see a problem with that. But doesn't coffee contain high levels of caffeine, and isn't caffeine addictive? Maybe Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes don't want their daughter to go through caffeine withdrawals?
Kanye West was spotted sitting courtside at the Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat game in Chicago, Illinois yesterday. The Bulls stunned the Heat in a 93-89 upset win. On Wednesday, Kanye stirred up a bit of controversy with his anti-abortion tweet about gold diggers and the hapless ballers who fall victim to them. Most of us yawned, but of course the media took the bait and ran with it. Photo: Kamil Krzaczynski/INFphoto.com
Lipstick lesbian Meagan Good, 29, smiled for the cameras during a night out with her girl Lil B in Los Angeles last night. Lil B was camera shy. But Good, who is never camera shy, obviously didn't realize she had Lil B's lipstick on her right cheek.
Charlie Sheen's $2 million paydays are over -- at least for the time being.
Yesterday, CBS announced it's decision to shut down production of the wildly popular TV sitcom 'Two and a Half Men'. The shut down will severely impact the wallets of the production crew who haven't received a paycheck in weeks due to Sheen's erratic behavior and attention-seeking antics in public.
The news reached Sheen while he was vacationing in the Bahamas with his girlfriend and others. Sheen has held up production of the show for weeks, angering the cast and crew. This is what happens when Hollywood elevates unstable narcissists to god-like status.
Charlie Sheen is not taking the news of Warner Bros. and CBS's decision to suspend production of 'Two and a Half Men' too well.
In a message to RadarOnline.com, Sheen called the decision "crazy" and "sad" and said that he was moving to HBO to do his own half-hour show titled 'Sheen's Corner.' The deal would reportedly get him $5 million for an episode.
Sheen is already the highest paid actor on TV earning $2 million for each episode of 'Two and a Half Men.'
Sheen reportedly said, "I'm close to securing a deal with HBO for a 10 show guarantee. It will be epic, all types of guests, and we will focus on the truth and the absurd!" Radar notes that HBO could not be contacted for comment.
Radar is also reporting that Sheen accepted a challenge to prove that he is clean and sober by agreeing to undergo a drug test on Monday. Sheen said, "I'm so confident where I am at and that these faceless names can't touch me ... I know that I will pass the test and prove my detractors wrong."
I tried to ignore this story because I don't want to analyze every stupid thing that Beyonce does. But this story has grown to such mammoth proportions that it can no longer be ignored.
Photos of Beyonce in blackface has created a storm of controversy around the world. According to British tabloid The Sun, the controversial photoshoot, which features Bey's face painted darker than African model Alek wek, has been defended by the magazine that shot them. The editors say the entire photo shoot was a tribute to Bey's "African roots" and that the blackface was partially Beyonce's idea.
"The designs are all reflective of the African influence on fashion this season," the magazine said in a statement. "As for the artistic make-up, the inspiration came from several African rituals during which paint is used on the face."
But critics shot back that Beyonce's use of blackface as a fashion accessory for a photo shoot is offensive.
The pictures were supposed to be a tribute to Nigerian musician and human rights activist FELA KUTI.
Bey's husband JAY-Z is producer of the Broadway show Fela! which the singer has recently seen.
And she was so inspired by the music that she's even incorporated the musician's sounds into tracks on her upcoming album.
Although there has been no comment from the diva's camp, it's not the first time her skin tone has raised a furore.
According to My Fox NY, the mother of the precious little girl featured in a controversial anti-abortion ad campaign wants her daughter's image removed from the billboard ASAP.
Tricia Fraser, who wanted to draw attention to her 6-year-old daughter Anissa Fraser by signing her up for a career in modeling, is now bothered by that attention.
"I would never endorse something like that," said Fraser. "Especially with my child's image."
Two years ago, Fraser signed up with a modeling agency to have all four of her children photographed.
"I know what I went into that shoot for," Fraser says. "And that's not what I agreed to. I want them to take it down."
When she signed a release form, Fraser knew the photos could be sold as stock images but never thought her daughter would become the face of a pro-life campaign focusing on African Americans.
"This is not targeting black women. This is targeting the practice and saying to black women is you find yourself in this crisis of an unexpected, unintended pregnancy," says Rev. Michael Faulkner, of the New Horizon Church in Harlem. "There are alternatives to death."
When Fox 5 asked about Fraser's demands, the organization said: "The image was properly licensed through a reputable stock image service. We'll be looking into the origin of the image and are certainly open to talking to the family directly if they have any concerns."
Local club promoter Omar "Slimm" White, 27, didn't mince his words when a gossip blog asked him to define his relationship with 46-year-old actress Vivica A. Fox. Slimm matter of factly said it was all about them dollars.
When asked what attracted him to Vivica, he answered: "It's a business as well as a loving relationship. We make a lot of money together."
"Let's put it like this... our sex life is great, its fantastic, it's phenomenal. She's satisfied... You know, you have to please your woman. Especially with an older woman. You have to know how to treat your woman. There's no time for BS in the bedroom."
"It's a business as well as a loving relationship. We make a lot of money together. A lot of people don't understand that you can love a person, have a business with a person and have a family and everything.
Is he wrong for being honest? It would be wrong only if Vivica wasn't aware that money is the main motivation behind her relationship with a much younger man. She would be in denial otherwise. Any time an older woman is turned on by the advances of a younger man, it's going to be an expensive proposition.
Remember when embattled dictator Muammar Gaddafi confirmed his tight friendship with Barack Obama, the president of the free world who is up for reelection next year?
In a speech published in London-based al-Hayat newspaper in May, 2010, Gaddafi expressed his love and admiration for Obama, whom he described as a fellow Muslim.
At the time, he said: "Now, ruling America is a black man from our continent, an African from Arab descent, from Muslim descent, and this is something we never imagined – that from Reagan we would get to Barakeh Obama."
Gaddafi referred to his friend Obama's election as "a major historical gain."
"He is someone I consider a friend. He knows he is a son of Africa. Regardless of his African belonging, he is of Arab Sudanese descent, or of Muslim descent. He is a man whose policy should be supported, and he should be assisted in implementing it in any way possible, since he is now leaning towards peace."
But Obama's handlers, who continue to insist he is not in any way a Muslim, must have reached out to Muammar, because he never described Obama as a Muslim again -- at least not in public.
R&B singer Usher was dragged over the coals by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on his AC 360 show last night. Anderson put Beyonce, Usher and Mariah Carey on blast for performing for the son of murderous dictator Moammar Ghadafi. Even though the performances occurred years ago, the trio are back in the spotlight due to the Libyan protests. It's a shame that our black artists are recognized for accepting blood money from a murderer when white artists reportedly declined to perform. Cooper reached out to the reps of all 3 stars but they politely declined to comment. That says a lot about our people and the greed that permeates the recording industry. Usher was spotted leaving the Beatles themed 'Hard Days Night' hotel in Liverpool, UK, today to head to the city's Echo Arena to perform the next night of his OMG tour.
Multimedia personality and socialite LaLa Vazquez was seen leaving her NY hotel yesterday wearing cobalt blue Christian Louboutin peep toe heels. She was on the way to watch her husband, Carmelo Anthony, play his first game as a member of the New York Knickerbockers. The Knicks easily manhandled Milwaukee by a score of 114-108. They won't have it so easy when they travel to Miami on Sunday to play LeBron James and the Miami Heat who are on fiya right now.
Make-up free Minka Kelly and Annie Ilonzeh are seen leaving a police training center in Miami, Florida where they are training for their television series 'Charlie's Angels' filming in Miami. Inside the facility, the girls were seen donning full S.W.A.T Team gear and doing push-ups while being yelled at drill team style. I'll be watching just to see Minka and Annie kick butt.
British celebrity Katie Price, 32, and her son Harvey, 8, were mobbed by a gang of paparazzi as they arrived at LAX Airport yesterday. You may not know who she is, but she's a world famous reality TV star on the other side of the pond.
Katie holds the distinction of being famous for no reason. But she's fairly intelligent, which redeems her. There is so much more to Katie than just her blond hair and breast implants.
According to Wikipedia, she has written 5 adult fiction novels, four autobiographies, two children's books and 1 book on fashion -- all before the age of 30.
Harvey is Katie's first born. His father is former Trinidadian soccer player Dwight Yorke (pictured above). She has 2 other children by different fathers. Harvey was born blind and autistic. Katie is often seen pushing Harvey around in a wheelchair because he sometimes has difficulty walking. Expect Katie to become a household name in the United States soon.
According to the White House, U.S. President Barack Obama is "grappling" with his feelings on the whole gay marriage issue even as he orders the Justice Department to stop defending the defense of marriage act (DOMA) in an ongoing court case.
The dictionary defines the word grapple as "engaging in a close fight or struggle without weapons" ie, wrestling with his thoughts.
What this really means is Obama is about to flip flop once again in order to appease the gays so he has a better chance of being reelected in 2012.
Expect gay marriage to be legalized in every state of the Union by the time 2012 rolls around.
Every special interest group knows that this is the best time to squeeze whatever bill they want out of Obama because all he cares about is getting reelected. Obama is so predictable.
The Justice Department announced Wednesday that, at Obama's direction, it would not defend the Defense of Marriage Act in a court case where it's being challenged.
Spokesman Jay Carney said Obama has always opposed the Defense of Marriage Act as "unnecessary and unfair." But Carney said there's no change to how Obama views gay marriage itself.
Obama said in January that he is still wrestling with whether gay couples should have the right to marry. He said his feelings on the issue continue to evolve but he still believes in allowing strong civil unions.
Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland, 29, and rapper Nelly, 36, snuggle during the video shoot of "Gone" in Cancun, Mexico yesterday. They're either really in love in the low or they're very good actors. Both Kelly and Nelly are in relationships with others.
You can tell when a man really loves his wife when he shows the utmost respect for her in the presence of others. It means something when a man bans all other women from his presence when he's with his wife, like Kobe Bryant did recently.
When a man cheats on his wife it is because he lacks respect for her and for the sanctity of their marriage. It doesn't mean he doesn't love her, it means he puts his own selfish needs above hers, which is a sign of disrespect. A boy becomes a man when he learns to put his needs aside to meet the needs of his wife and children.
Kobe has learned his lesson, according to Page Six.
Kobe Bryant's security was so tight, it even banned female cocktail waitresses from his VIP area at the Hennessy Black All-Star after-party Saturday night at Boulevard 3 in LA. According to an insider, Bryant's team also carried out two sweeps of the club in the days leading up to the event. "Kobe had a lot of male friends with him, and I'm pretty sure they would not have minded fe male cocktail servers," said one spy. Instead, Bryant kept his at tention on wife Vanessa, who mixed his drinks for him at the table.
An anti-abortion billboard with racist overtones was erected at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Watts Street, three blocks from a Planned Parenthood Clinic, and across the street from a public employees union hall in SoHo, New York City. The ad has sparked outrage among blacks, which is exactly the intention of the marketing company that created this ad campaign.
Pop Icon Janet Jackson, 44, and her millionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana, 34, held hands as they headed to their awaiting car last night. The couple had just finished having dinner at Matsuhisa restaurant in Beverly Hills, California.
Life will be very different for NBA star Carmelo Anthony now that he's an official New York Knickerbocker. Carmelo, who signed a $65 million 3-year deal with the Knicks, was spotted leaving his hotel in New York City today. His wife, Lala Vazquez, will now have to contend with New York groupies who are a far different breed from their more laid back counterparts in Denver, Colorado. Anthony, 26, is scheduled to play his first game as a member of the New York Knicks tonight. But the real test will come on Sunday, Feb. 27, when he plays LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the blazing Miami Heat in Miami.
Meagan Good likes big butts? Apparently she does. The 29-year-old sometime actress and socialite was entering a parking garage in LA with her girlfriend when they were approached by paparazzi. Her girlfriend tried to run but Meagan wasn't having that. She playfully forced her girl to turn around and take pictures with her. Meagan has long been rumored to be bisexual.
According to loyal readers Tasha and LaTonya, the chick with Meagan is Brandi Burnside, aka Lil B. She played Tashina in Nora’s Hair Salon 1 & 2.
Ciara, 26, was spotted toting her beloved pooches Tyson and Georgia in a Louis Vuitton carrier while shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday. Friends were worried about Ci Ci after pictures surfaced online showing her leaving a doctor's office looking pale and sickly. Ciara tweeted that she had lost her voice and couldn't speak.
But she looked fine yesterday as she shopped with her best friend, Yolonda Frederick. Ciara's smile turned upside down when she found a parking ticket on the windshield of her black jeep. But she didn't let a ticket get her down. Ciara took to her Twitter page and tweeted this message that only her gay fans would understand.
To those of you who don't know: "family" is a code word for gay and "in the life," which is used to describe the gay lifestyle.
But my loyal readers already knew that Ciara was bisexual, so this isn't news to you.
By now you've all heard the story about the fisticuffs that took place between comedian Jamie Foxx and his longtime manager Breyon Prescott at a Belvedere Red party earlier this month.
According to an industry insider, who is close to both Jay Z and Jamie Foxx's camps, Jigga came to the rescue of his friend by unofficially blacklisting Prescott at the 2011 Grammy's.
My source tells me that Jay Z gave the order to his people to take Prescott's name off of his Grammy party lists -- and others in the industry followed suit.
Jay Z threw a Roc Nation brunch on the Saturday after the fight, according to my source who attended the brunch. He said when Jay saw that Prescott's name was on the list, he reportedly said, "we don't need people up here who fights their artists. It's not a good look."
Ironically, it was a pre-Grammy fight in 2009 that led to Jay Z imposing a similar blacklist on Chris Brown that nearly destroyed the singer's career after he assaulted his then-girlfriend, and Jay Z protege, Rihanna.
According to the insider, Foxx and Prescott fell out long before the ruckus took place at Club Avalon in Hollywood on Feb. 10. The two men had been friends and business partners since 1994 when Foxx released his first album entitled Peep This.
But in recent years, Jamie bristled at rumors that Breyon was allegedly using his name to make money under the table. "He was taking kickbacks, side deals, alla dat - and now Jamie doesn't want nothing to do with him," said my source in a phone call yesterday.
It seems that Prescott was too "attached" to Foxx -- but not in the way that other blogs have claimed. "He was jealous because Jamie had a better table than he did," said my informant.
Breyon's habit of using Foxx's name to score sexual services from industry groupies also troubled Foxx. The source said Prescott was drunk when they got to fighting at Avalon after Foxx had severed all contact with him.
"When Jamie got Breyon in a headlock, Breyon bit Jamie's finger. Jamie had to get stitches in that finger," said the insider, who went on to say that Foxx is huddling with his attorneys to find a way to get Jamie out of his rock solid contract with Prescott. "I think he's got 3 more albums in that contract with Breyon," the source said.
Everyone is at odds these days with pop singer Rihanna who has transformed herself from a much-loved international superstar into a bitch with an attitude problem. Rihanna angered billionaire Donald Trump by not showing up to perform at his cancer fundraiser as planned.
The Donald reportedly paid Rihanna a staggering $500,000 to sing for an hour at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute on Saturday (Feb. 19). But Rihanna's people canceled the gig at the last minute claiming she was sick with bronchitis and couldn't fly to Florida.
Miraculously, the next day Rihanna recovered enough to give a high energy performance during half time at the NBA All Star game. Later that night she hosted an intimate 23rd birthday party for herself at a posh Beverly Hills mansion for about 100 of her closest friends and family, including Jay Z, Beyonce, Drake, Christina Milian, Young Jeezy, Snoop Dogg, Lil Twist and industry execs Bu Thiam (pictured right with Jeezy at the party) and Shawn "Pecas" Costner (Universal Records).
Jennifer Hudson graciously agreed to take the gig (albeit for far less than the amount The Donald paid Rihanna).
Even though the fundraiser was a huge success, The Donald couldn't resist getting a dig in at Rihanna.
“Nothing was missed. Jennifer’s a beautiful girl," said Trump. "She came on her day off even though she performs almost every night. "She is an unbelievable talent, and her voice is better."
Luckily, my photographer was able to get get some exclusive shots on the inside. No other blog gained access to the party. Above is a pic of Rihanna's ice sculpture. I would post more pics from Rihanna's private birthday party but a national magazine has acquired the exclusive rights to the photographer's pictures.
