As predicted, Beyonce's album, 4, has bombed spectacularly. The projected first week sales figures are in -- and they are not good.

Beyonce will be #1 next week, but 4 will sell only 273K, her lowest 1st week sales since her debut album, Dangerously in Love, was released back in 2003. I'm still trying to get my confidential source on the phone to tell me what the mood is at Sony/Columbia records. I'll let you know what he says.

Fresh off her triumph on closing night at Glastonbury, Columbia diva Beyonce’s 4 will debut at #1 next week on the HITS album chart with between 275-300k in first-week sales. Her previous album, ‘08’s multiple Grammy winning I Am… Sasha Fierce, debuted with 463k, but that was during the Q4 sales rush in November.
Those figures are based on one-day sales from those music retailers around the country not augmenting their income by selling illegal fireworks out of the back door.

SoCal rapper Big Sean’s Finally Famous: The Album, his feature-length debut after a series of critically acclaimed “Finally Famous” mixtapes, is the first release under Kanye West’s new deal for his G.O.O.D. Music label, through Island Def Jam Music Group, and should do in the 90-95 range.

According to the NY Daily News, a Phoenix teen has been arrested and charged with 1st degree murder in connection with the beating death of his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter.

Martwane Mackey, 18, is also charged with beating Ty'Shea Austin's 1-year-old sister, Zariah, but the toddler survived. Mackey's girlfriend, Qnique Thues, was at work at the time. The couple lived together.

Mackey waited hours before calling 911 from a pay phone on Sunday. When police arrived, they found Mackey holding a limp Ty'Shea in his arms.

Mackey admitted to biting and slapping Ty'Shea to revive her after she had a "choking and respiratory incident" at home. He denied killing her.

Officers saw bruises and bite marks on Ty'Shea's head and body, and police say little Zariah had similar injuries. She was hospitalized and is in stable condition.

"He's a monster, and people need to know he's a monster," Rhonda Brown, Ty'Shea and Zariah's grandmother, told ABC 15 News. "I don't think death is good enough for him, I think he needs to be beaten like he beat her."

The family can't afford to pay funeral expenses to bury Ty'Shea. Donations can be made through any Wells Fargo branch to the Ty'Shea and Zariah Memorial Fund, or via the account number 9373518860.

Apparently Kelly Rowland is still under Mathew Knowles' spell. The "Motivation" singer tweeted the above message urging her nearly 1 million followers on her to run out and buy Beyonce's album, 4, which dropped yesterday. It's sad that Kelly still feels the need to kiss up to Beyonce, even though Kelly has the #1 song in the country. That was nice of her to help boost Bey's sales figures. But let's see if Bey returns the favor.

It's a sure bet that Bey won't ask her 1.3 million followers on Twitter -- to go cop Kelly's album, Here I Am, when it drops on July 26, because Bey is too good to tweet like common folk.

As I told you yesterday, the "planking" craze has taken over black Twitter. Here are NBA stars, Basketball Wives, and baby mama's laying down in unusual places. That's Gilbert Arenas and Dwight Howard double planking a luggage rack above. Hopefully this silly fad will fizzle out by the end of the week.

Evelyn Lozada (Basketball Wives) lays face down on an unsanitary baby changing station inside a public restroom (that's just nasty)

Ryan Cameron, host of V-103's midday Ryan Cameron show, interviewed Metta World Peace, formerly Ron Artest who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Metta, who's in the process of legally changing his name, discussed playing in Finland, his rap remix of YC's "Racks On Racks", featuring Taz and D&D, and Metta wants the world to call him simply "Metta Peace", no middle name necessary.

Friends Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade were pictured at the 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Premiere in Times Square in NYC yesterday. After walking the red carpet, the two went their separate ways. It's good to see ex-lovers remain friends, isn't it?

R&B singer Rihanna gripped her butt cheek during her performance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles yesterday. My spies tell me that the real reason singer Cee-Lo dropped out of the LOUD tour is because he thinks he's a bigger star than Rihanna is, and he resented opening for her. Speaking of Rihanna, she is tapped to host the Grand Opening of the new Vision, now called Reign. The occasion is also owner Alex Gidewon's 40th birthday party.

It sure looks like it. Keys, 30, and her hubby were spotted arriving at the Bowery to meet her fans and sign autographs yesterday. The couple have one son together. An 8-month-old boy named Egypt.Photo: Dara Kushner/

A Twitter user posted this tweet on earlier today:

Knowing that EVERY penis started out as a vagina should help u to better understand why some men are such bitches

Twitter user @bprocks56, a male, asked: "how is that when Adam was created before Eve? #blankstare"

I saw this as a teachable moment: clearly some people aren't aware that all embryos have the same female genitalia until about the 8-12 weeks of gestation. This is why the sex of a baby can't be determined by ultrasound until after the sex organs are formed.

Here are male and female 9 week old embryos. Can you tell which is which? Click here to see the answer.

Socialite Deiondra Sanders recently sat down with Danity over at Celebrity VIP Lounge for an intimate interview. You may know Deiondra as football legend Deion Sanders' daughter. If you don't recognize her, it's because she used to be black before she decided that life was easier as a blond, er, I mean as a LSLH chick.

You longtime regulars were first introduced to Deiondra as Nia Riley's ex-lover. Nia is music producer Teddy Riley's spawn. Sanders will probably spend the rest of her life denying any sexual relationship with Nia. What we do know for sure is that Sanders provided support -- financially and maybe emotionally -- for Nia.

When her dad Teddy stopped supporting Nia, who refused to get a job because working is so beneath her, Deiondra moved Nia into her spacious Atlanta home and tossed her the keys to her Mercedes that Deion bought her. Deiondra also let Nia wear all her expensive name brand clothes.

In her interview with CVL, Deiondra totally disavows any of this. But can you blame her? It turns out that Nia really is the arrogant, narcissistic, broke, wannabe "model" that we thought she was. The only thing a man, or woman, can do for Nia Riley is give her a place to live and pay all of her bills. That's because she thinks she's entitled to your money if she lets you believe she's your lover -- as she did with poor Deiondrea.

DANITY: Ok, now onto some juicy goodness. Just last year I heard that you separated from your rumored bisexual mate Nia Riley, Teddy Riley’s daughter. Was the breakup really as nasty as it was reported? Can you clear up any rumors there??

DEIONDRA: Ok, first and foremost, I AM NOT BISEXUAL. (Laughs) I have nothing against bisexuals. In fact, I have bisexual friends of course but that’s just not my cup of tea and that’s all I have to say about that subject.

DANITY: Ok so, last fall it was rumored that Chad Ochocinco took you out on a date in Atlanta after a Bengals and Falcons game. Was there ever a love connection between you and Chad or was that just an innocent get together that the paps photographed?

DEIONDRA: OMG! I’ve gotten so much static about Chad and I. I know Chad through my dad. We are more like brother and sister. Chad and my dad work out and train together from time to time…that’s all. He’s a great guy with a wealth of knowledge but that’s it. Sorry America. No romance story here.
