Mariah Lost 30 lbs of Baby Fat (with the help of a tummy tuck and liposuction)
Remember when singer Mariah extended her stay in the hospital after delivering her twins 6 months ago? Most of you speculated that Mimi underwent a tummy tuck in order to show off her post-delivery body on magazine covers.
Talk about a drama queen; Mariah tells US Weekly magazine she “felt trapped” in her body because she “couldn’t move.” Was she that big?
Six months after welcoming twins Moroccan and Monroe, Mariah Carey has lost 30 pounds — and shows off her toned legs and flat stomach in size-6 short-shorts on the stunning new cover of Us Weekly, out now.
“I gained an enormous amount of weight,” the Grammy-winner superstar tells Us of welcoming her son and daughter April 30 with hubby Nick Cannon.
How’d she slim down? Beginning in July, Carey buckled down with a nutritionist and a workout plan from Jenny (formerly Jenny Craig), keeping to a 1,500-calorie-a-day menu and thrice-weekly workouts.
“I feel incredible,” the “Fly Like a Bird” singer tells Us, three months after her body transformation began. She and Cannon, 31, famously struggled to conceive their twins (born via C-section at 35 weeks) after a heartbreaking miscarriage.
“It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies,” Carey says, “But I felt trapped in my body because I couldn’t move.”

You can always tell people who’ve had lypo… their navels look like over cooked sweet peas. I used to have an outie (nt to be confused with Audi) and now its like an innie/outie wrinkle combo. I am not opposed to cheating with the nip tuck… I have tried for 7 years to sent my muffin top packing but she stays with me through the good times and bad.

I disagree… my stretch marks lead to my pink palace. I actually embrace them. I do hate that my boobs are semi flat. They are sort of like a soda left out in the open… still drinkable but somethings missing. I had a c-section so my drive way can still park a car or two.
Good Morning all. Even if she did have lypo, or a tummy tuck, she still has to workout and eat right to maintain the look. It’s not like a tummy tuck is gonna keep itself going forever so, I still give her credit for what she looks like if she’s maintaining it. Now if she’s just going under the knife everytime she sees a few pounds, she’s a lazy ass and just needs to embrace her fluffiness.

So she doesn’t have any stretch marks. I recently had a son 4 weeks ago and since I am breastfeeding I lost 30lbs however I got stretch marks. So you mean to tell me after twins she don’t have any. The devil is a lie!

For people saying how easy it is to lose weight after babies ESPECIALLY when you breastfeed, consider that not everyone is the same plus being older changes the the way some people’s metabolism functions. My 3rd pregnancy was twins and I tandem nursed them and the weight did not burn off like it did with my first 2. Nursing two babies is no joke! It took a LOT more energy, but it still didn’t burn my baby weight all off. I still have 40 of the 85lbs I gained.
@LilMommy & Trendsetter, I was huge with twins and I don’t have stretch marks. Some people say it’s hereditary. My grandmother had 7 kids (including a set of twins) and she didn’t have stretch marks either. IJS.

You’re also lucky if you didn’t get hemorrhoids. I had a relative who damn near had a fit when she learned that not everybody gets them. She couldn’t believe it when I told her I didn’t have that problem.
This woman is soooo dramatic. Her on the Rosie Show did it for me. I mean yea, she looks fab but really? All this over 30 pounds? Let’s celebrate the every day woman who lost 100+ pounds to save their life.
