Teen who was whipped by his uncle for being a gangbanger on Facebook shot dead

A young man featured in a viral video being harshly disciplining by his uncle for being a gangbanger, was shot dead near his home.
16-year-old Michael Taylor became something of an internet sensation when his uncle whipped him with a belt for lying about his gang affiliations — and uploaded the video to Facebook. But even though the uncle’s intentions were good, Taylor met a violent end when he was found shot to death last week in his Terrytown neighborhood.
According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office said Michael Taylor, 16, was found shot to death shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7 when deputies responded to a report of gunshots in the area.
In the YouTube video, posted in January, Taylor’s uncle ordered him to disavow any ties to gangs, announced that the family “don’t come from that sh–,” and then proceeded to take off his belt and spank Taylor in full view of the laptop camera.
Rappers Lil Wayne and Birdman spoofed the video, as did another video site called StuntKidzTV.

Video Premiere: Chris Brown – Strip ft. K-Mac

Earlier today, troubled singer Chris Brown premiered his video for his latest single “Strip” featuring K-Mac. I know you don’t care about this guy, but some of his Stans still hold out hope that he will make a comeback.

Chris Paul is headed to LA

Last night, the New Orleans Hornets completed a blockbuster deal that will send star point guard Chris Paul, 26, to the Los Angeles Clippers for 3 players and a first-round draft choice from Minnesota. Paul, who recently married his longtime girlfriend and baby mother, will share the Clippers front court with power forward Blake Griffin, 22.
He will be introduced to Hollywood live on Foxsportswest.com today at 5PM.
NBA.com noted: “The Clips’ trade for Chris Paul wasn’t a message to the Lakers as much as it was to the entire West.”
Outfoxing the Lakers and thrilling their long-suffering fans, Los Angeles on Wednesday traded high-scoring guard Eric Gordon, former All-Star center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and a first-round draft choice acquired from Minnesota for Paul, the four-time All-Star widely considered to be the NBA’s best point guard.
“We decided for a player of Chris’ caliber that it was just time to make the move and push all our chips into the center of the table,” Clippers vice president of basketball operations Neil Olshey told the team’s website. “We’re really happy about it. Chris is the kind of player that makes everybody around him better. He’s a general. He wins. He’s a warrior, and he’s going to take this whole organization to the next level.” Source
Texas Man Triggers 8 Car Pileup, Shoots Motorist Dead, With His Twins in the Backseat

An Arlington, Texas man was taken into custody after triggering an 8-car pileup and shooting, which left two motorists dead, and another injured.
The tragic chain of events started at 1:40 p.m. yesterday, when Thomas Lester Harper, 27, driving a blue Escalade collided into two cars at North Collins Street near Washington Street, according to WFAA.com.
Harper — with his toddler twins strapped into the backseat — fled the scene of the accident at a high rate of speed. Witnesses in other vehicles pursued Thomas in an attempt to get his license plate number.

“He probably was doing 100 down northbound Collins,” witness Billy Ray Vaughn told WFAA.com.
At Collins Street and Brown Boulevard, the Escalade plowed into the back of a Dodge pickup truck, killing the driver instantly. The impact triggered chain reaction crashes, resulting in a six-vehicle pileup at the intersection.
But Thomas wasn’t done yet.
Why you should be worried if your man is on a social network

Nothing kills a relationship faster than boredom and restlessness. If you and your man aren’t equally yoked, and your man is bored with your married life, he’s going to search around for some excitement outside of your marriage.
A Twitter.com user is claiming to have footage of Trina Braxton’s husband, Gabe Solis, doing hand exercises (I would be more explicit but this is a family oriented blog). Trina is singer Toni Braxton’s youngest sister, and she’s one of the stars of WE tv’s popular reality show ‘Braxton Family Values‘.
As proof of her claims, the woman, whose Twitter handle is @1DonDiva, uploaded a video of Gabe relaxing on his marital bed while discussing his wife’s personal business with a total stranger on Skype. At some point in the nearly 3 minute video, the woman tells Gabe how sexy he is. In addition to calling his wife a drunkard, Gabe revealed that he never had emotions for any woman outside of his marriage, despite Trina’s assertions that he cheated on her for 5 out of the 7 years they were married.
Do you know who your husband is “Skyping” or DM’ing on Twitter?
Not So Blind Item

This popular R&B singer’s record label is just about at the end of their rope with their superstar who has blown through her album budget and repeatedly delayed the delivery of her album due to personal issues.
The label’s execs have been overhead telling friends that the singer blew through her album’s budget — which she received in 2010 — and she has yet to deliver a completed album on time. “We gave her a [recording] budget and she spent all the money, and now she’s doing a reality show,” said one label exec who begged to remain anonymous.
The recording exec speculated that the singer has put the project on the back burner because it is the final album in her 5 album contract with the label.
