Lark Vorhees is finally comfortable in her own skin (Video)
Former child star Lark Vorhies is 38 now, and finally she’s happy in her own skin. Why can’t we be happy for her?
Yesterday, the woman known to millions of Saved By The Bell fans as “Lisa Turtle” appeared on a segment of Yahoo’s The Yo Show hosted by the flamboyant Michael Yo.
Married with one child, Lark appeared to be relaxed and quite content after all these years living in the shadow of her perky TV character. Lark probably doesn’t care that her mature appearance has sparked such an uproar on social networks such as Twitter.com.
Did she have plastic surgery? Is she bleaching? Maybe. But shouldn’t her skin be lighter if she was bleaching? Does she wear a ton of makeup? Yes, but most women do because they fear they will be judged harshly if they don’t.
Yes, kids, stars get old. And some of them drop the pretenses of going through the motions of maintaining Hollywood’s standard of beauty.

people change….but that makeup disaster is preventable. using lighter makeup does not make you look lighter u just look ashier chalky and zombie like.
Lark looks like she’s about 30lbs heavier and is wearing the wrong makeup (too much shadowing and countouring) for the cameras. Her hairstyle is matronly but otherwise, the only big difference is the weight.

I dont see anything wrong with her is it my computer, she gain some weight but that is normal when you get older
As a makeup artist I can say she needs to shoot not fire, but shoot whoever did her face like this. No way would I let a client leave looking like this. Really I don’t know if she has surgery it could all be bad contouring and highlighting on the artist part.

I think maybe the constant attention paid to their looks can cause an unhealthy obsession with looking perfect all the time. If you are less than attractive, but smart as hell and successful to boot then you can do pretty much anything, but sometimes highly attractive people are stuck in a box. They are expected to be bimbos and block heads when that may be the furthest thing from the truth.
Some are taught from a young age to rely on looks (especially woman) and never learn that looks can and will fade so when it happens and reality sets in they can’t handle it IMO.

That was the first thing I thought. Just couldn’t think of possible diseases but it is a definite possibility. Also, her hair looks like a wig. That can also indicate hair loss as a result of sickness. Her voice is also really fragile.
She did have a face-lift though. Her eyes raise upward especially when she smiles. Makes it really obvious.

And Toni’s face does look bloated at times on the show…and her skin looks ashy.
I have seen people up close and personal who had advanced lupus and their appearances are similar.

Looks like a bad makeup job to me. With all this hi-def TV they have to go overboard with the makeup. I think the makeup artist on set did a horrible job on this low budget set.
