Fantasia is NOT pregnant
Singer Fantasia took to her Instagram page Tuesday to slam rumors that she is pregnant with her 3rd child. Fantasia recently gave birth to a boy, her first child with estranged baby daddy Antwaun Cook.
The rumors were sparked by a blog after ‘Tasia posted the above pic on her Instragram page over the weekend.

Yep Walmart and Cosco’s does. Many people don’t know that you don’t have to buy a casket at the funeral home with there 3-10x markups. The funeral home has got to take whatever casket you bring to them that is regulation standard. Its the law that no one knows or care to know because funeral homes capatalize on your grief and you wanting the arrangements to be just “handled” That’s why funerals are so expensive. Most of the cost is the casket.

I gonna have to find me one of those! The sylist I use has a growing hand as my momma says! She can do some hair…but takes damn 6 hours for a roller set cause my hair is thick, but damn she be double booking and shyt.
Kinda hard to explain @Candi.. but hair products sometimes contain protein for strengthning. Especially products geared to those with chemically treated hair (color, relaxed, whatevs). To help rebuild the hair after the chemicals break it down.
The main symptom is dry, straw-like hair that will turn brittle and lose the curl. I think its affects those with coarse hair more so then fine hair, simply because coarse hair has more cuticle layers on the outside of the hair.
Protein attaches to the strand acting as strength..if there is too much strength things go bad.

To all my natural Sistahs ~ everything you need for your hair is either in your kitchen or in the produce section in the grocery store. Banana smoothies (bananas, avacado, mayo, coconut milk, honey, evoo) are great for natural hair. As a cleanser, organic apple cider vinegar mixed with water.

Las Dominicanas are the ON when it comes to hair. in and out, hair LAID! HOWEVER, i’ve heard that the heat technique most of their shops use is not the bizness. after hearing about their great work for so long, i finally went for my first time a few wks ago. so far, i’m good

I dont like ACV rinses (the smell). I use a commercial product to check my porosity once a month or so… I use rosewater everyday (its in my moisture spritz) But it doesnt have cleansing properties…Im sure you could replace the water with rosewater tho…seems like a waste tho since its rinsed off?

I found a salon that is about 10 minutes away from where I live. I am going to have to check them out for my next relaxer!
i’m still on my cantu conditioner kick. smells fab. does the job. open to new prods tho. always.
@divaaaaaa, i only went for a wash and curl. i havent heard about them and relaxers, to be honest.
@ Shaun. It’s the Cleanse & Condition Shampoo and Conditioner and the leave in conditioner.

have you tried the Loreal Mega moisturizing conditioner? similar to cantu. I have both and they make my hair feel the same!
@OTB, Ok I may just add the rosewater to the ACV rinses as a buffer, perhaps? The ACV is ok on my hair, but yea I don’t dig the smell even diluted!
Coconut conditioner
You wanna mix something up? This is a protein treatment tho. Coconut strengthens like artificial proteins..
a can of Coco Milk, 4tbsp of honey, 4tbsp of Olive Oil, mix.
Pour over head and cover for 30mins. I use it on dry, dirty hair. I also mix in herbs but thats me and my obssesive-ness

Good protein ladies is Apoghee? It is the bomb. My have a relaxer & color and I use the Apoghee protein treatment and it strengthens my hair. I swear by it………
OTB: Yes, but I want to do similar to the As I Am Coconut Co-wash. I want to replace my Tresemme Naturals which is great but I’m trying to get All-natural if I can. I currently use Dr. Bronner Peppermint poo like 1x/month

Oh yea, I already have a protein treatment recipe I do every 6wks or so but I do an avocado deep conditioner every week. So I am trying to get the weekly conditioner to be all natural too <…sorry for my long-typeness

Girl, I loves me some color. I have always worn honey blonde….but (coughs) with this gray I went darker brown….I wants to be a blonde again, but I scared since I went so dark.
@OTB, I definitely understand having shelf stable products, but for those who have just a little mor time and patience can always use homeade remedies. Honey is a natural preservative and can make some products last longer. Nevertheless, for the weary, (myself included) have learned to use ice trays to freeze my concoctions and thaw only when needed. Btw, I enjoy reading all of the tips from the naturals.
The problem with a lot of naturals (in my opinion of course) is that they refuse to accept their hair for what it is…if you don’t have a curl pattern it’s ok…spending hundreds of dollars to ‘force’ your hair to become what it’s not is where the struggle and frustration lies…love your hair for what it is and then the magic starts

@DB ~ I personally believe less is best ????. I generally use (depending on the time of year and desired outcome of the style) either organic aloe vera juice, organic coconut oil or pure castor oil.

I think more naturals have a curl pattern then without…I have 4z areas in my hair that curl. I think paring down what you use can get you to love your hair..I didnt see these curls until I stopped using artificail stuff.
