Congrats to Baylor women’s basketball star Brittney Griner who took home the Best Female Athlete of the Year trophy during the 2012 ESPY Awards at Nokia Theatre in LA on Wednesday. The 6-8 center was also named the AP Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four, among her many accolades.
Griner led Baylor to the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship in April. The Texas native wears a men’s 17 or 18 shoe size. And in case you’re wondering, the answer is yes.
