Last night CBS Atlanta aired part 1 of its investigative series into the federal probe of judicial misconduct in Fulton County.

In September, Tameka Foster-Raymond’s attorney, Lisa West, filed a Motion for Recusal, accusing Judge Bensonetta Tipton-Lane of bias in light of Judge Lane’s close ties with Usher Raymond’s attorney, John Mayoue, who contributed to Judge Lane’s reelection campaign.

In a controversial move in September, Judge Lane awarded Usher Raymond full custody of his two boys, ages 3 and 4. Prior to the ruling he shared custody with his ex-wife Tameka Foster-Raymond.

President Obama declared New York a disaster area as Hurricane Sandy pounded the east coast of the United States with sheets of rain and high winds, leaving several people dead and millions without power.

Winds are still gusting at 45 mph in some areas of the East. 30 foot storm surges were reported as Sandy came ashore in the New York and New Jersey areas.

President Obama suspended his campaign efforts to concentrate on federal hurricane relief efforts. On Monday, Obama stood before the cameras and warned New Yorkers to evacuate or stay inside their homes. He said Hurricane Sandy would be “big and powerful” but he said the federal government was ready.

Here’s the official music video for Ludacris’ new new single “Representin” featuring Kelly Rowland. “Representin” is off Luda’s upcoming eighth studio album, Ludaversal. I’m not feeling the song, but the 4 minute 13 second music video is worth watching to see Kelly Rowland wearing various sexy outfits. Kudos to Luda for choosing Rowland for this duet.

The parents of Atlanta R&B singer Natina Reed, 32, are asking the public for help in determining where she was coming from and where she was going when she was struck and killed by a car on Friday.

In an interview with Channel 2 Action News, Reed’s parents, Tamara Goodridge and Paul Reed, said their daughter was talking on her cell phone and walking along Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road, just north of Lilburn, when she was struck by a car around 10:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital at 10:59 p.m.

“She was on the phone,” said Reed’s father. “She was walking across the street on the phone, and the next thing she’s on the floor.”

President Obama supporters on who threatened the life of GOP candidate Mitt Romney remain active on Twitter. reports that the Secret Service was aware of the threats made against Romney’s life after the 2nd presidential debate.

I would support President Obama for reelection if he would impose mandatory birth control on hoodrats like this woman who gave her infant weed to smoke. In the cell phone video, which first appeared on Worldstar Hip Hop, the woman offers the child a hit off of her marijuana cigarette. The little boy appears to be glassy eyed and behaving as if he is under the influence from the addictive substance. The woman is apparently a resident of South Carolina. If you know who she is, please contact police or your local child welfare services.

Last night Bravo TV aired a special featuring Atlanta celebrity hair stylists Derek “J” Johnson and “Miss Lawrence” Washington dishing on their RHOA co-stars. As you know, Derek J is a friend of the blog who was kind enough to sponsor a Total Makeover giveaway for my readers. So it pains me to reveal the shocking information that was passed on to me by a reader who I thought was being messy.

The reader emailed me to inquire about Lawrence’s source of income since, she said, he was not allowed to practice in Georgia without a license.

I was waiting for Hip Hop apologist Russell Simmons to defend the latest incidence of senseless violence in Hip Hop, and Russell did not disappoint. Simmons is always quick to defend rappers who commit assault, rape and other offenses. This time he used a woman to do his dirty work for him.

In an editorial published on Simmons’ blog Global Grind, Evanka Williamson defended Chicago rapper Lil Reese’s actions in a viral video that shows him brutally beating a young woman last year. Reese is also under investigation in the shooting death of 16-year-old Chicago rapper Lil Jojo.

It’s worth noting that Lil Reese did not apologize for his violent behavior until radio program directors and DJs threatened to boycott his records.

On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder dealt star guard James Harden to the Houston Rockets in a trade that caught the sports world by surprise.

One of those surprised by the trade was Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, who called Thunder’s trade of Harden to the Rockets “shocking.”

“It was shocking but they made the move they felt was right for them,” Wade said, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. The Miami Heat beat the Thunder in 5 games to win the NBA title earlier this year.
