Former ‘Fresh Prince’ actor Alfonso Ribeiro welcomed his second child — a boy — on Sunday, PEOPLE reports. Ribeiro’s wife Angela welcomed her first child, Alfonso Lincoln Ribeiro Jr., who was born at 10:45 a.m. weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz.
“Alfonso Jr is home, happy and healthy,” Ribeiro’s rep told PEOPLE. “His parents are excited to begin their journey with him!”
“We are so blessed,” 42-year-old Ribeiro Tweeted on Sunday.
Ribeiro added, “We also want to thank our amazing Dr. Jason Rothbart. He was so great and a calming influence in the room.”
The actor gained popularity as nerdy Carlton Banks on the popular TV sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in the 1990s.
Ribeiro is already dad to mixed daughter Sienna, 9, from a previous failed interracial marriage.
