The Game Season 7 Premiere

Our favorite cast member on BET’s ‘The Game’, Kelly Pitts (played by Brittany Daniel), finally resurfaced during last night’s episode. It was disappointing to see Jason Pitts (Coby Bell) break his marriage vows to Chardonnay by kissing Kelly. But he was once married to Kelly. Apparently Jason married Chardonnay (Brandy Norwood) on the rebound. It will be interesting to see if Kelly stays next week.

I was SEW upset when Jason started to kiss Kelly even though I had predicted it would happen. This will make for a juicy story line. It’s the least they can do since they ruined the show for me by getting rid of Melanie and Derwin.

I enjoyed it and was shocked when Jason kissed Kelly, too. I like that they stopped themselves. I rewound so many times trying to understand WTF it was Chardonnay’s last comment while she was crying. Never did get it. I’m unclear on how Kelly has so much money (to pay off the extortionist). The bratty kid is itching to get bitch-slapped. Am I the only one who when we heard the “knock-knock” on the door thought it was gonna be Chardonnay at the hotel door (and not Blue knocking on LL’s door)?

Thing about The Game…is they SORAS’d Britt Pitts when it came back on BET… they said it was supposed to be five years into the future if I am not mistaken. To explain her aging, etc. What they forgot was to adjust everybody else age, storyline etc to match. If it was five years into the future…how old is Tasha REALLY supposed to be tambout she PREGNIT??? How old is Malik? How old was JASON talking about he was returning to the league? Writers always had alot of splanin to do IMO.

I be tryin to gently remind folk that they stopped watching the show in droves while Melanie and Derwin were still there. The show needed new life. I don’t hate Lauren as much as everyone else does because she’s so cute. People complain about her acting, but I watch Lisa Raye on Living Single every week so Lauren practically looks like an Oscar candidate compared to her.

Kelly was a very hands on mother, but the way they spinned that storyline was Brit was getting out of control on Instagram and Youtube and smoking weed, etc. and she felt like Jason wasn’t focused or concerned like he should have been…I think the writers wanted it to appear as tho Kelly had a temporary breakdown, hence her leaving for some seasons…but now she should step in and resume things…let’s hope…bc, Brit is the one I want gone after they boot Lauren London…Brit annoys me bc she’s supposed to be a teenager, but the actress looks 30…

BET didnt want to pay Bittany her asking price which was why Kelly was written off. Tia, Pooch and everyone else took pay cuts. Pooch and Tia got fired when they started asking for bonuses based on ratings (which is what BET initially promised for them to stay on); you know BET will fire you in a heartbeat when you start asking for a slice of their pie

I think it’s time to retire from social media. Just had a “friend” block me fom their facebook page because my comment on their status got more likes than their actual status got. And it wasn’t anything controversial or even thought provoking if you ask me.

I took a book to my cousin birfday sleepover. They outside talking to boys, I’m like i’ll be right chere. LilMissy is a huge reader, loves Judy Blume and she’s really into science and non-fiction (no clue where she gets that from lol)
