Internet HACKtivist group Anonymous has spoken out against the senseless police shooting of unarmed teenager Michael “Mike Mike” Brown in Ferguson, Mo. on Saturday.
Police say Brown was shot multiple times after he wrestled a police officer for his gun. But witnesses say Brown had his hands in the air when he was shot at least six times.
The teenager had just graduated high school and was set to start college this week.
The shooting recalled the execution of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by former neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman who was eventually acquitted of murder.
“We’re outraged because yet again a young African-American man has been killed by law enforcement,” said John Gaskin of the NAACP.
Like Trayvon Martin, many news media outlets attempted to criminalize Brown by portraying him as a thug.
Some called for the National Guard as residents of Ferguson and nearby St. Louis took to the streets to protest Brown’s death last night.
There were reports of looting, arson and rock throwing in Ferguson overnight. 32 were arrested, and 2 officers were reportedly injured.
In the aftermath of Brown’s shooting death, Attorney General Eric Holder has instructed the government’s civil rights division to monitor the developments in Ferguson, Mo.
But many believe that’s not enough.
Anonymous, a group of activist hackers who are known to wreak havoc on the Internet, called on the residents of Ferguson to “take heart – and take your streets.”
In a social media message uploaded to Pastebin.com on Sunday, Anonymous threatened to “attack the servers” of the Ferguson police department and “release the personal information on every single member of the Ferguson Police Department” if they retaliated against the protestors.
The group created a website – OperationFerguson.cf and a Twitter page – twitter.com/OpFerguson.

A little over 24 hours ago in Ferguson, Missouri – USA the Ferguson Police Department shot an un-armed teen 6 times and killed him. His body was left to lie in a pool of blood in the sweltering heat for hours while the police militarized the area against protesters and attempted to concoct a reasonable story as to why they snatched this innocent students life for no reason. The St. Louis County Sheriff Department even sealed the roads leading to Ferguson in a vain attempt to prevent protesters from reaching the city. His name was Mike Brown, he was 17 – and he would have started college next week. Instead, his family is struggling to come up with funeral costs.
The entire global collective of Anonymous is outraged at this cold blooded murder of a young teen. Not a week goes by that some young person, usually of minority ethnicity – is slaughtered by murderous police in the USA. For this reason Anonymous will not be satisfied this time, as we have in the past – with simply obtaining justice for this young man and his family. Anonymous demands that the Congressional Representatives and Senators from Missouri introduce legislation entitled “Mike Brown’s Law” that will set strict national standards for police conduct in the USA. We further demand that this new law include specific language to grant the victims of police violence the same rights and prerogatives that are already enjoyed nationwide by the victims of other violent criminals. The Equal Protection clause of the US Constitution demands nothing less.
To the good people of Ferguson, take heart – and take your streets. You are not alone, we will support you in every way possible. Occupy every square inch of your city. Open your homes and help in any way you can the protesters who will come to your city from every part of Missouri and the USA. Businesses and householders that are near protest rallies, open your WiFi routers so that live streamers and other independent journalists can use the Internet connections. Feed each other, keep each other safe – and stay in the streets until we are totally victorious in all our demands.
To the Ferguson Police Department and any other jurisdictions who are deployed to the protests: we are watching you very closely. If you abuse, harass – or harm in any way the protesters in Ferguson we will take every web based asset of your departments and governments off line. That is not a threat, it is a promise. If you attack the protesters, we will attack every server and computer you have. We will dox and release the personal information on every single member of the Ferguson Police Department, as well as any other jurisdiction that participates in the abuse. We will seize all your databases and E-Mail spools and dump them on the Internet. This is your only warning.
The time has come for more than simple justice for these atrocities. The time has come to draw a line in the sand and say “no more dead kids”, no more police killings and beatings. Anonymous is drawing a line in the sand, and that line runs right down the middle of Main Street Ferguson, Missouri. Police impunity ends with the barbaric death of Mike Brown.

This is one reason police mess with black men. when they see them, they go the other way. To the police, they look suspicious and now they become a target. So yes we don’t want to get near no cop let alone snatch their weapon!
We as a race have allot we need to do. One thing need to stop doing is being comfortable and complacent. We react instead of being proactive. We get fired up when something happens when we never should’ve turned the fire of in the first place. The civil rights movement was effective because it was consistent. When the younger brother kept walking, big brother cuffed him and said he was under arrest for obstruction. It took Mama Butter 2.5 seconds to get wind of this- the years before cell phones- and get to her baby. She was about to set it off

Voting is up among blacks in big national elections. But for local /state elections? No not so much. That where the racists judges who sentence us more harshly get elected . The Civil Rights movement was effective not due to “consistency” but because of several reasons.

The system? Even the ones who claim a love of black ppl try it. I know a black guy who married a sprite chick. I’m sorry another parent is having to bury their child! I buried my son on December 28, 2012. He was murdered at the age of 14 years old in our Grayson townhome on December 19,2012. My son, was a great kid who was targeted by his peers over material things. This type of shit starts with us, the black community. Until we start caring enough about each others lives, why the hell would anyone care about you???? We are killing each other daily, over dumb shit…material things that can be replaced! People cannot be replaced! Blacks need to get mad about lives being lost in Chicago, Atlanta, Detroit each every day at the hands of their own people! But, when a white man kills a black oh the outrage is unbelievable. It simply amazes me….get mad at you before you get mad at the white man. We are killing ourselves. The only thing blacks are good for is the grave or jail at least this is what society think. We are setting the standards, not any white person! Change starts with us! RIP to all the young soldiers dying daily…my heart is heavy as I type. My son, had a future that snatched from him not by a white man, but by a man that looked like him!
