Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert are featured on the cover of Ebony magazine‘s April 2022 digital issue with their adorable daughters, Junie and Rue.
Teyana is everywhere lately. She is fresh off her 2022 Farewell Tour where tickets sold like crazy. She and husband Iman recently walked the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of “The Kardashians.” And just today, April 11, she attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for rap producer DJ Khaled.
In the cover story, Teyana, 31, gushed about raising daughters Junie and Rue.
Meanwhile the winner of “Dancing with the Stars” is used to being recognized as Teyana’s husband or Junie and Rue’s daddy.
“People back home might be like, ‘Oh that’s L’Tanya’s son.’ If you’re a fan of my wife, then it’s ‘that’s Teyana’s husband.’ Or, it’s ‘that’s Junie’s dad,” said Iman. “That’s Rue’s daddy. Look, he looks just like Rue. It’s always in association with my family. I have 65-year-old women come up to me and say, ‘I just love you. You’re a great dad—and boy, you can dance!’ Kids come up to me and tell me they watch our [reality] show, they have no clue that I even play ball. I’m so many different people to everyone. But it’s cool.”
Iman, 31, is still waiting for an NBA team to offer him a contract. Until then, he’s content to be a stay-at-home girl dad.
