I was in middle school when Rebecca Schaeffer happened. This girl who worked for my mom…a college student was being stalked by some dude who went to school with her. He was showing up at the JOB. She stopped going to some of her classes cause he was making it hard for her on campus. She said she went to CHURCH and he was IN THE CHURCH. After she told my mother that, my mom and another lady made her call her damn parents and tell them what was going on. for somebody to show up at CHURCH???

REAL TALK. Boss eons ago (me and her had the same bday…COOL yt woman. Married to a Mexican) told me something and it stuck with me. HER husband was the ONLY BOY who could read in his fam and his two youngest sisters. It was 11 of them total. The 3 youngest only ones who finished school. She said NONE of the older ones could read in SPANISH let alone English. I was so SAD when she told us that. Lady in the office had said why do they take so long at the ATM if they GOT a Spanish option. That is why. Alot cant read it even in Spanish. But for some countries it is lack of education based. Not cause they “slow”.
