Around this time last year, R&B singer Ciara was preparing to walk down the aisle with prolific baby maker Future. You couldn’t tell Ciara nothing about her future husband back then. In fact, I tried to warn her that the 31-year-old father-of-5 (or 6) wasn’t the settling down kind. But did she listen?
Now Ciara is angry and bitter after Future dropped a baby off in her and crushed her dreams of being Mrs. Future Hendrix.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson rescued Ciara from heartbreak and despair. But he’s no thug rapper, which is Ciara’s type.
Wilson is making noises about putting a ring on Ciara’s finger — if she remains celibate. That’s a tall order for her.
In the documentary, Like I Never Left, rapper Future blamed their breakup on Ciara’s desperation to get married before he barely had a chance to get to know her.
“She was just trying to feel like, we need to rush the date and go on and do it,” he said.
Future recalled telling Ciara, “I wanna marry you, but I can’t have no big wedding on E! News. I can’t have … all these different big media outlets covering my wedding and I’m not comfortable.”
After hearing about Ciara’s new pact to save her goodies until she’s a married woman, Future quipped, “God told me something else… He ain’t tell me to wait. I guarantee you that. We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That’s a true story.”
Ciara was so angry at Future’s response, she tweeted, “Some Person Is So Dishonest and Ignorant That They Don’t Deserve A Response. Furthermore, One’s Main Focus Should Be On Being A Good Parent.”
Even though Ciara rebounded nicely with a handsome, yet dorky, NFL quarterback, she is apparently still not over the thug that got away.
If Russell Wilson has any friends they will warn him about bitter women who can’t get over their exes.
He — meaning Russell — will catch hell once the dopamine wears off.
