A restaurant co-owned and operated by rap mogul 2 Chainz failed a health inspection, according to the Georgia Dept. of Public Health website.
Escobar Restaurant & Tapas opened less than 3 months ago to much fanfare in Atlanta’s Castleberry district. The restaurant, which was inspected on Feb. 17, received an unsatisfactory 59 grade for multiple food safety violations.
The violations included uncovered food, cross contamination of food, no thermometers in cold storage, and improper heating temperatures.
Escobar Restaurant & Tapas is located at 331 Peters Street in southwest Atlanta. The establishment is co-owned by lesbian entrepreneur Mychel “Snoop” Dillard, pictured below with 2 Chainz at the grand opening party in December.
