Baller Wives

VH1 brings you another scripted reality TV series featuring washed up celebrities and their desperate wives. Baller Wives premiered on Monday, August 14, and features former groupies who are married to or linked to former professional football players.

In episode 1, former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Mike Vick addresses his recent headline-grabbing comment about former quarterback Colin Kaepernick's afro. Also, Vick's wife, Kiafa Vick attempts to make amends with her controversial next door neighbor, Stacey Chambers, wife of Chris Chambers.

Later, the ladies convene at a rooftop party, where Kiafa's bestie Jeniva Samuel confronts Stacey for allegedly sleeping with her husband, Asante Samuel.

The series also stars Channing and Aja Crowder; Julius and Kelly Jones, and Brent and Miko Grimes.

    Cute but where is the class???? Ohh VH1... Please dont tell me the men are going to behave classier than the women shows. I tried to watch but went to sleep on their argument... I didnt know wtf they were even talking about.
    Black women please get your images in check.. Better producers maybe. If its fake and manufactured at least make sure they are manufacturing your image correctly and its more than nice makeup and hair...

    I watched; they embarrassed me & I don't even know them. Chris Chambers married his stalker mistress, & tries to clean it up to make her look not so bad. He filed for a restraining order (while still married) against Stacy, his now wife, then stalker...but neither of them showed up for the hearing. Now he's denying it ever happened. Stacy apparently slept w/Asante Samuels before Asante married Jeniva. I see why Key-lo-lo can't stand Stacy (they're neighbors by the way), she might try to bang Mike too.

    The "baller wife" reality shows are just dumb to me... and they seem to be mostly scripted anyway, not "reality" like they claim.

    It's crazy how ratchet azz songs get stuck in your head and your start singing them, and kinda liking them. But you know you shouldn't, cause you hate a side heaux. But the beat is fire.

    As soon as the wack BBW reunion went off, I immediately turned. The commercials and their short appearance on the reunion made it quite clear I did not want to see these chicks. They already have WAGS which I could never watch , what is this show bringing different to the table.....NOTHING!

    I knew the Los Angeles crew was either slow or crazy when they were worshipping and acting like security for the stripper chick Chris Brown put on. You know you doing bad when you let the stripper be the Main on show the Los Angeles crew was so tired. If you thought Miami was tired Los Angeles just needed to go to bed.

    Ok I love me some Mike Vick (Falcon's for lyfe) but that ratchet wife erked the hell out of me. I gave her credit when she was getting on him about Kaper but later on in the show she showed her ratchet card all the way through. I don't know if I will be able to ride with this one. I will give it another episode to see what the deal will be.

    1. Michael Vick doesn't sound as illiterate as I initially thought he was. I remember a commercial where he was reading. *insert face palm*

    2. I DISlike the way they mentioned Michael Vick's other child is passing and didn't show any pics of him. But maybe his mother doesn't want him on tv.

    3. Even though this is going to be a hot azz mess, I'm glad to see regular black women married to black women.

    I did not watch this show last night bcuz I fell asleep but at least they all are married and they are living up to the title of baller-wives as it should be based upon and around that. Just like Basketball wives, even though Jackie is bat crazy, she is the only one that is married and still married to a basketball retired player at that. Anyway, I guess I will check this show out, when I have nothing else better to do or nothing else better to watch….

    Vick really has nothing to lose at this point, since he "retired" after no team wanted his non-throwing ass, so he needs to let us see the real him. Ditto for his wife. Nobody gives a damn about that staged next door neighbor nonsense; tell us about the herpes, how you got it, how long its been since you got it, and how Arthur Blank cussed you out in his office and then called in Creflo Dollar for a telephoned prayer circle.

    Vick also needs to tell us about that mixed baby he says isn't his in Philly.

    Brent Grimes is a sneaky ass mess too. He has that low-key persona and he and that wife are always trying to present a family-first squeaky clean image.

    But they need to tell us about all those nights Brent spent at Magic City--occasionally bringing home one of those gals for the enjoyment of not just himself, but his wife as well. I heard he's got a small penis too.

    I don't really care enough about the rest of those posers and losers to put their business out there.

    Vick really needed this because his options have completely dried up. He's been telling friends that he wants to get into football sportscasting but that's not gonna happen; the NFL is pretty much done with Vick, and the networks aren't gonna cross their biggest broadcasting partner for Michael Vick's ass.

    And Vick sounds sleepy every time he opens his mouth too.

    Unfortunately, this show doesn't have a future. 5 years ago, maybe. Today? Not so much.

    Meaningless and wasteful. So sad these ladies do nothing more than brag and gossip about each other constantly. How about being an exception and doing something worthwhile such as being an apprentice, doing a start up business, talk about the company and products and how you will distribute it, have some real business people behind your show. That's a productive life about you end and not the has been spouses. And yes, wear business attire instead of the typical stripper outfits.

    I kinda like Jeniva. This show was more ratchet than Season 1 of LHH Atl and NY rolled into 1. The only thing meaningful Out of this show Mike Vick was able to make his PR statements about Cap and sorry about the dogs.

    I felt the same thing especially with all they went through then she come bringing her hood card out like her neighbor she needs to do better. From the previews it look like Vick got upset about her going in on the neighbor so I will see how it goes down next week

    I mean I was watching each couple and this is the first reality show with real marriages and the women look like the chick next door or at your job......The attitudes were stank amongst each other but the fact that these men didn't follow the stereotype/status quo is refreshing..
