Comedienne Tiffany Haddish honored her absentee father’s Eritrean heritage by wearing a traditional Eritrean gown to the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday. Haddish’s father walked out and abandoned his family when Haddish was 3. Her ex-husband William Stewart located Haddish’s long lost father who agreed to give Haddish away at her and Stewart’s first wedding. Haddish filed for divorce from Stewart in 2011 and again in 2013.
