Big Sean is a businessman now. The 29-year-old rapper attended his PUMA x Big Sean Collection Launch at Goya Studios on Monday in Los Angeles. On hand to support her man was singer Jhene Aiko, who recently chastised her social media followers for falling for her online PR stunt to promote this event.
Last week, Jhene blamed bloggers for what she called “fiction” stories about her and Big Sean breaking up. She didn’t mention the part that she and Sean “unfollowed” each other on social media, which many took to mean they broke up.
Whenever rappers or reality TV stars need quick press they manufacture fake news stories or stunts online, then they call out their followers for responding to their stunts.
Social media users are getting tired of these stunts by marginally talented people who take them for dummies. Millions of people are abandoning social media and choosing to connect with friends offline or go on extended vacations to clear their heads.
