Rapper Post Malone is safely on the ground after a private jet he was on blew 2 tires upon takeoff from a Teterboro, New Jersey airport Tuesday morning. The Gulfstream 4 jet, which was headed to London, England, landed without incident at a New York airport around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.

After the jet took off around 10 a.m., the pilot reported 2 tires blew off. The crippled jet circled over a Connecticut airport while burning off fuel before attempting an emergency landing.

The Grammy-winning rapper won a MTV Video Music Award for his hit song “rockstar” featuring rapper 21 Savage, pictured above left at the awards show last night.
