Kierra Coles missing

The U.S Postal Inspection Service is offering $25,000 for information on the whereabouts of Kierra Coles, a 26-year-old mail carrier who went missing 2 weeks ago.

Coles was last seen on Oct. 4 near her Chicago home on the South Side. Her mother, Karen Phillips, waited two days to report her missing.

Phillips suggested Coles may have suffered from an emotional breakdown related to her pregnancy.

“Maybe something did happen where she was overcome with a lot. You know when you are pregnant you are emotional,” Phillips told ABC 7. “I want to say she just went somewhere and didn’t want to tell nobody and then she will just come home but I don’t feel that.”

Coles’s dad, Joseph Coles, added: “If anybody knows anything, please call in, let us know. We love her. We miss her.”

Coles was not delivering mail when she went missing. Postal Inspection Service spokeswoman Julie Kenney said Coles was 3 months pregnant.

Community activist Andrew Holmes also offered $1,000 in exchange for information on Coles, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Anyone with information on Coles’s whereabouts should call the U.S. Postal Service at (877) 876-2455 or the Chicago Police Department at (312) 747-8274. Callers can remain anonymous.
