Rapper Young Thug's fans are very concerned for his well-being after he recorded prayers that seemed more like goodbyes to his family and friends in a series of Instagram videos on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Atlanta rapper seemed anxious and struggled to find the words to say to his parents, siblings and children. He told his mom that he prays she lives happily ever after and she achieves everything that she's ever wanted in her life. He also prayed for his father to be at peace with the fact that people will never understand his son.
"I pray that my dad don't ever lose his mind to make people understand me," said the rapper. He said he hopes his six children (and as many baby mamas) will grow and don't have any "problems with relationships."
He prayed that his friend, rapper Gunna learns how to express his thoughts more clearly.
And to the love of his life, newcomer rapper Karlae, he hoped she "blows up faster than life."
Thugger's fans fear for his life because the rapper seemed to be saying his goodbyes to family and friends.
His fans wondered if Thug has a premonition - the way Tupac did - that he is not long for this world.
This is not a good time to be a rapper, particularly for Atlanta rappers who have been targets of drive-by shootings recently.
Thugger also prayed for his haters, or "ops" as he called them.
"I pray that the people that want me dead, that want me to be buried, I pray that they wake up and find God," he said.
We're praying for you, too, Thugger.
