Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, left, vigorously denies claims that he sired a child with former college basketball player Lunden Roberts, 28. The younger Biden is asking a court to toss out a paternity suit filed by Roberts earlier this year.
Roberts filed the paternity suit in Arkansas in May alleging the 49-year-old is the biological father of her 1-year-old son.
In response to the lawsuit Biden denies fathering the child and he asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit.
Roberts claims she had an intimate affair with Biden in 2017 and she gave birth to their child in August 2018. Biden was reportedly dating his brother Beau’s widow, Hallie, at the time of the affair.
According to Page Six, Hunter Biden and Hallie split in April and he married South African Melissa Cohen three weeks after meeting her in May.
In an interview with The Arkansas Democrat Gazette in June, Roberts said she values her privacy and she is not seeking money from Biden.
“She just wants this baby to get financial support from the baby’s father,” her attorney Clint Lancaster said.
“This is a parenting and child support issue,” Lancaster added. “She really does not want this to be a media spectacle. She does not want this to affect Joe Biden’s campaign.”
