Dr. Dre has been discharged home from the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm, but doctors still don’t know what caused it.

Sources close to Dre tell TMZ, the music mogul went home Friday and he will still need to be monitored 24/7 by medical professionals at his home for the next few weeks.

TMZ‘s sources say Dre was in ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. until Wednesday, when he was then moved to a private room at the hospital. Although he’s been discharged, doctors still don’t know what triggered the brain hemorrhage.

Other sources claim Dre experienced partial paralysis and will need in-home physical therapy to get his strength back.

TMZ was first to report, Dre, 55, suffered a ruptured aneurysm at his Pacific Palisades home on Jan. 4 and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars.

Dre released a statement last week, saying he was doing great and he thanked his fans for their support.
