Daryl Strawberry’s Ex-wife Forced to Get a Job
According to gossip website TMZ.com, the gold digging ex-wife of former NY Mets baseball star Daryl Strawberry will be forced to get a job after she lost an epic court battle over some of his money.
Strawberry’s ex-wife, Charisse Strawberry, was promised $800,000 by Strawberry as part of their $5 million divorce settlement in 2005, according to court documents.
Apparently, Charisse burned through the $5 mil that she already collected in the settlement. So she went after the Mets for monies Darryl earned in the 80s.
The only problem is Daryl, 49, owes the IRS around $470K — so the Mets told Charisse their hands were tied. Charisse took the Mets to court whereupon the Mets explained to the judge that Daryl receives $8,891 a month as delayed compensation for his time with the ball club.
The judge ruled in favor of the Mets, saying the IRS always gets first dibs on any monies owed by a living, breathing taxpayer. And even though Daryl was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in the late 1990s, he’s still alive.
According to TMZ, “Charisse and the Mets finally agreed last month to let the IRS take its cut first — but since the Mets are only doling out $8,891 a month in Darryl’s name … it’ll be at least until 2016 before Charisse sees a penny.”
Now Charisse is forced to get a job to sustain her lifestyle until the Mets — and the IRS — sort out who gets a cut first.

Celeb Style: Gabrielle Union, Savannah Brinson, Adrienne Williams at Celtics vs Heat
The Boston Celtics dropped their 2nd straight game last night when they lost to the blazing Miami Heat 115-107 at the American Airlines Arena. Boston, whose captain Paul Pierce is out with a bruised left heel, opened their season with a close loss to the NY Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
Last night Miami led by as much as 20 points over the hapless Celtics in the 3rd quarter. But the odds on favorite for the 2012 NBA championship blew that lead in the 4th quarter when the Celtics, led by veteran guard Keyon Dooling’s 18 points off the bench, mounted a strong comeback.
Rookie Heat guard Norris Cole drew chants of “MVP!” from the crowd when he came off the bench to score 14 of his 20 points in the 4th quarter. Cole’s clutch jump shots in the final minute of the game sealed the win for Miami, who are now 2-0.
Miami Heat star LeBron James finished the night with 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
But it was his baby mama, Savannah Brinson, who put on a show in the stands with her inappropriate game attire. Gabrielle Union (D. Wade’s fiancee) and Adrienne Williams (Chris Bosh’s wife) both dressed respectfully, but Savannah’s outfit was the talk of Twitter.com.
Before she left home to attend the game, Savannah tweeted a pic of herself wearing a black miniskirt which was more suitable for a cheerleader than for the conservative hometown girl from Cleveland, Ohio.
Beyonce Baby Bump Watch 2011
Just as we suspected: those pics of a bloated, baby whale Beyonce shopping at Bergdorf Goodman were not her. As you can see from the pics below of Bey shopping at Curve in NYC, her nose is not spread across her face, and she hasn’t picked up a pound anywhere other than her midsection.
In her shameless, never-ending campaign to stay relevant, Beyonce covers this month’s issue of Jones Magazine. Her baby bump is not visible in this cover shot, meaning she removed her prosthetic — or she knew she was going to be pregnant when these pics were taken. It’s interesting that she’s talking about motherhood when she isn’t even pregnant in these pics!
“I believe that parents prepare their kids for the moment that they’re on their own: at this point, I am taking everything my dad and my mother have taught me, and I’m able to do things my way,” she says.

In last night’s episode of VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop‘, rapper Fabolous’ baby mama, Emily B, styles a fashion show and invites Fab hoping to impress him. Unwilling to move on after Fab disrespects her by unrelentingly bedding groupies — Emily yearns for the day when Fab will give up the groupies and come back to her. Newcomer Teairra invited Emily to go bowling with an eligible man, but it’s obvious that Emily is not interested in moving on from Fab.
In one of the saddest scenes ever in a black reality show, pseudo-singer Olivia and her manager, Rich Dollaz, walk their toy Yorkies in a park while discussing Olivia’s dead singing career. As Olivia’s fake tears drop, Rich breaks down and sobs, “I put my life on hold so you can win! I just want you to win!” Wtf?

Nothing kills a relationship faster than boredom and restlessness. If you and your man aren’t equally yoked, and your man is bored with your married life, he’s going to search around for some excitement outside of your marriage.
A Twitter.com user is claiming to have footage of Trina Braxton’s husband, Gabe Solis, doing hand exercises (I would be more explicit but this is a family oriented blog). Trina is singer Toni Braxton’s youngest sister, and she’s one of the stars of WE tv’s popular reality show ‘Braxton Family Values‘.
As proof of her claims, the woman, whose Twitter handle is @1DonDiva, uploaded a video of Gabe relaxing on his marital bed while discussing his wife’s personal business with a total stranger on Skype. At some point in the nearly 3 minute video, the woman tells Gabe how sexy he is. In addition to calling his wife a drunkard, Gabe revealed that he never had emotions for any woman outside of his marriage, despite Trina’s assertions that he cheated on her for 5 out of the 7 years they were married.

Programming Note: Basketball Wives Special Livestream Event From Miami
All week VH1 has been teasing the Basketball Wives Facebook followers about a special event coming Thursday involving the cast of the ‘Basketball Wives‘ (the boring Miami crew, not the LA cast).
And, maybe due to that fact, VH1 didn’t get much of a response to the teasers on facebook.
