Morning Wood: Dappy of N-Dubz

“I’m down to earth and humble,” said rapper Dino “Dappy” Contostavlos of British pop band N-Dubz in a recent interview.

He’s also seriously packin’.

One of our Twitter followers tipped us off to Dappy’s ‘gift’ over the weekend. @Kennoger tweeted:
“This is Dappy from the British pop group N-Dubz trying to prove he’s bigger and better than #CB [Chris Brown].”

Well, judging from the pic that was attached to the tweet, we would say Dappy wins that bet hands down.

Because Sandrarose.com pride ourselves on being a family-oriented blog, we must tuck the Morning Wood away behind lock and key. You must be registered and over 18 to view the image.

Obama Bo Nude Photo Gay Erotic Art *NSFW*

There aren’t too many Barack Obama fans interested in bidding for a “gay erotic” painting of their president “Scarlett Johanssoning” in the White House bathroom.

The current bid for the painting sits at $127.00 on eBay.com. The artwork could be a collector’s item — especially if Obama loses his bid for re-elected, as many think he will.

We’re sure the 14 bidders are all Whites. The winning bidder will probably remove the artwork from her wall and hide it when black guests come over for a visit.

According to the artist, Dan Lacey, the 11 x 16 inch oil painting was inspired by the infamous Scarlett Johansson nude photos that leaked online last week after her cell phone was hacked. The FBI are currently investigation the hacking. Also in the painting, Mr. Obama’s pet dog, Bo, sits and watches his master intently.

What do you think of the painting? Will you bid on it?

Morning Wood: Jai Okoli

Loyal reader Angie writes:

Good day Sandra,
my name’s Angie I am a frequent reader of your blog for about a year now. I truly enjoy your daily outlook and commentary on todays celebs thru your blog as well as a follower of your Twitter page. Recently you Morning Wood section has caught my eye as a great place for the creative people we are around often to receive the spotlight and recognition they deserve.

My submission is in regards to my friend and a leader Jai Okoli. born of African descent he currently resides in the city of Dallas, TX. He has years of model experience as well as a fashionista in his own right and has recently turned that talent into a styling company he has named Fashion Junkie Styling Co.

I have been so lucky to be asked to be a part of his movement. As a an up and coming stylist he has turned his passion into something that he could include all artist within the fashion/beauty industry together as a team for success. He isn’t only a kind person but he is truly an artist I have been able to absorb from. I could go on and on but I think his portfolio speaks for itself. To his and his company work go to FashionJunkieStyling or follow him on Twitter

Sincerly,

Morning Wood: June Brone

Loyal reader Priscilla D. writes:

Good Morning Sandra!

I’ve been reading your blog now for about two years and must say I enjoy it very much. A particular section that I enjoy is the “Morning Wood/Morning Glory” especially because it allows regular people to showcase their talents and let you learn a little about them. Please feature a good friend of mine, June Brone. He is the ultimate jack of all trades and has come a long way. He is an extremely talented artist and has a lot of his work for sale in galleries in Providence, RI, and also has done some work in modeling.

He was born in New York but calls Rhode Island his home and he also hand makes and designs a jewelry line named Zenuj (zeh-new). He works so hard at it and has just recently moved to Miami to expand business and things are looking up.
June is a great guy. He doesn’t allow his looks to boost his ego and is honestly one of the nicest people I’ve ever had the honor to know. If you’re more interested in him and Zenuj Jewelry, look him up on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/junebrone or on Twitter @kidbrone.

Morning Wood: Jason Momoa

This is not the first time that Lisa Bonet’s sexy actor husband Jason Momoa has made our Morning Wood section. The 6 ft former model turned heads while vacationing in his native Hawaii with his 43-year-old wife over the weekend. Jason spent the day paddle boarding in the waves off Hawaii’s beautiful beaches. Once out of the water, he carried the large paddle board over his shoulder like it weighed a feather. Jason and Lisa have two children together, a daughter, Lola Iolani Momoa, 4, and a son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, who turns 3 in December. Lisa has a grown daughter, Zoe Kravitz, by singer Lenny Kravitz.

Morning Wood & Morning Glory: Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union

Good morning! Today we decided to combine Morning Wood & Morning Glory posts for you ladies and gents. We hope you and your family are enjoying your Labor Day weekend. Here in Atlanta it’s a cloudy 75 degrees with a 60% chance of thunderstorms. It’s not a good day for BBQs or hitting the beach. Fortunately, the weather in Miami was beautiful for 38-year-old Cougar Gabrielle Union, who spent quality time with her boy toy, NBA star Dwayne Wade, 29, and his two sons, Zaire, 9, and Zion, 4, along with their young friends during a family outing on Miami beach on Sunday. Wade won full custody of his sons following a bitter child custody battle with his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches. The couple divorced in 2007.

Gabby wore a string bikini with the word HEAT emblazoned on her backside. Wade plays for the struggling Miami Heat who suffered an embarrassing loss in the 2011 NBA Finals to the lowly Dallas Mavericks. But things will be much different in 2012 if the owners ever come to an agreement and lift the NBA lockout.

Ladies, watch your girlfriends around your men. Especially if she can never keep a man for herself. Always remember — unless she is a lesbian — she is your competition. She is paying close attention to your every move. She’s taking notes and positioning herself to take advantage of your mistakes. Watch her!

Update: according to a loyal reader, the woman pictured above with D. Wade and Gabby is actress Essence Atkins, who was accompanied by her husband, Jaime Mendez, whom she met on Match.com (thanks blkmiami!). But my advice still stands: watch those thirsty chicks around your man.
