Couple leaves kids at home alone for 2 days to fly to Las Vegas
Nothing surprises me anymore. Two Chicago parents were arrested and charged with child endangerment after they left their 9-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son at home while they jetted to Vegas for two days.
Shanpreta Howard and Antowain Johnson turned themselves in to police on Tuesday, even though they left Chicago on the evening of Wednesday, February 22 — and did not return until Friday afternoon.
While in Vegas, Howard and Johnson visited a storefront chapel where they renewed their vows. They also updated their facebook status frequently with photos and notes about their trip.
Johnson even updated his status at one point to say: “Bout to hit the Strip Club.”

R&B crooner Usher Raymond recently visited the Motherland S. Africa with his producer, Rico Love. One fan emailed Sandrarose.com to inquire about a woman who was blurred out of one of the photos that Usher tweeted to his 3 million followers on Twitter.com on Wednesday. In the photo, Usher is seen sitting at a table with Rico and a LSLH woman whose features are indeed blurred out. But there is a simple explanation for that. PICS: Rihanna arrives in LA; Ready for showdown with love rival
According to celebrity blogger JustJared, troubled singer Rihanna just touched down in Los Angeles after spending 2 works working in London. Rihanna arrived at LAX with her trusted assistant Melissa. She looked exhausted as the two women walked arm-in-arm while the paparazzi snapped away.
As you read here on Sandrarose.com, Rihanna has rekindled her romance with her abusive boyfriend Chris Brown. Despite all the reports about Brown sticking by the side of his long-suffering girlfriend, Karrueche, my sources tell me that Rihanna and Brown have been burning up the phone lines, calling and texting each other. Rumor has it that Rihanna plans to have some sort of showdown with Karrueche now she’s back in LA.
We hope there won’t be any violence like the last time.

Celebrity Seed: La La and Carmelo Anthony
It should have been a relaxing day on the Beach in Miami for media personality La La Anthony and her son Kiyan. But instead Kiyan had to contend with the disruption of reality TV cameras as he played in the sand and surf.
LaLa was shooting scenes for her VH1 reality show, La La’s Full Court Life on the beach today. Although he receives a paycheck for being his mommy’s prop, Kiyan doesn’t have a say in the decision to be in the show — but his father does. Carmelo Anthony doesn’t want anything to do with the show, and friends say he allows La La to exploit Kiyan on the show “to keep the peace at home.”

Afternoon Delight: Alicia Keys
Music producer Swizz Beatz narrowly missed doing federal time on piracy charges two weeks ago. The 33-year-old deadbeat dad flossed like he was making millions off the now defunct Megaupload.com content storage website. But as it turns out, Swizz allowed the website’s real owner to use his name and likeness on the website — for free… or so his lawyer says. Of course the truth will be revealed in due time.
Yesterday, a grateful Swizz and his gorgeous wife, Alicia Keys jetted to the sandy beaches of Hawaii with their adorable 15-month-old son, Egypt, for a little relaxation.

Celebs Out & About: Rihanna, Angela Simmons, Russie Simmons
Rihanna, 23, is still on holiday in her native Barbados. She was spotted yesterday splashing in the surf with her family and friends at the beach. Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, raised eyebrows yesterday when they expressed their undying love for each other on the social networking website Twitter.com. Rihanna is typical of an abused woman who forms an unhealthy attachment to her abuser, even after he has rearranged her face, because she lacks the self esteem to move on.
Solange Knowles is Off the Market
Beyonce Knowles-Carter’s baby sister, Solange Knowles, has finally found a man willing to stick around for more than a month. Okay, that was harsh. My apologies for that. But Solange has had difficulty keeping a man in the past. According to BlogXilla, Solange and her boyfriend, Allen, spent a month in Paris, France with Jules, her son from a previous relationship.
Solange posted photos from her French vacation on her blog. Since this is a gossip blog where speculation runs rampant, we wonder if Allan has a job, or if he’s sponging off of Solange who is sponging off of her sister Beyonce?
