Todd Tucker and Riley Burruss

Over the weekend, singer Kandi Burruss Instagram'd this holiday image of her fiancé Todd Tucker and her daughter, Riley Burruss, on a Jet Ski. Almost immediately, Twitter erupted with criticism about the close proximity of Todd to Kandi's daughter on the Jet Ski. Normally I ignore black Twitter's juvenile attacks on celebrities. But in this case -- judging by Riley's guarded body language -- they might be right. Read on.

Chris Brown

In a bid to repair his damaged image, troubled singer Chris Brown gave away new sneakers at the 'WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity's Shoes' event at Crenshaw Senior High School on Saturday, July 6, in Los Angeles, California. Brown, 24, gave away free Reebok sneakers to children in need. Brown was recently charged with a hit-and-run and leaving the scene of an accident without exchanging information, both misdemeanors.

    Beyonce and Blue Ivy

Like most narcissists, singer Beyonce knows how to get our attention. The "Grown Woman" singer published a new photo of her daughter Blue Ivy wearing a crown on her head. The crown, which is custom made to fit the child's head, is a symbol of Beyonce's overinflated sense of superiority projected onto her innocent daughter. Beyonce, whose parents treated her like a gilded object to be put on display, is doing the same to her daughter. There is no doubt that Blue Ivy will grow up to be a narcissist like her mother and father; but by the time she's grown, society at large will be 90% narcissistic. So it may not be such a bad thing.

    Chris Brown

Embattled singer Chris Brown took to his Twitter account today to respond to the LA city attorney charging him with hit-and-run.

The 24-year-old singer's name has been a mainstay in the headlines over the last few years, but it looks it he may not be in the wrong this time.

If you recall, Brown and his longtime girlfriend Karrueche Tran were involved in a fender bender back in May. Brown's SUV tapped the bumper of another woman's vehicle. He got out, exchanged information with the woman, took a few photos of the minimal damage, then left the scene.

Now Brown is accusing gossip website TMZ of "yellow journalism" for bullying him and reporting the new charges.

"My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!," Brown wrote.

    Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union

Miami Heat star guard Dwayne Wade posed with his former fiancée Gabrielle Union following the Heat's thrilling game 7 victory in the NBA Finals last night. The reason I say "former" is obvious: look at Wade's body language compared to Ms. Union's.

His body is not turned toward hers. Ms. Union is practically draped all over him, while he is barely touching her.

    Materialistic Celebrities

Loyal reader Tasheena emailed her thoughts on my post about materialistic celebrities.

    Tasheena writes:

I agree with you 100% about these celebrities flaunting their wealth and not giving back to their people. I refuse to buy an album of someone who constantly brags on their record about how many chicks, cars, jewels, and how much money they have. I am not gonna use my hard earned money that I had to work my lil 9-5 for to buy ya CD only to hear you brag about how much money you have when I am barely making it in this economy. Shame on her and the others who brag about their wealth to their fans and their are even some who can't even stop to sign an autograph for the same people who support their brand.
