Jason Collins

Jason Collins, the 35-year-old Brooklyn Nets bench rider who is noteworthy for who he has sex with, presented his jersey to the family of Matthew Shepherd last night. Jason Collins in a Nets uniform

The Brooklyn Nets signed 35-year-old bench rider Jason Collins to a 10-day contract on Sunday. According to sources, President Obama called in a favor to his good friend, minority team owner and rapper Jay Z.

ASAP Rocky

Rapper A$AP Rocky spends as much time disputing gay rumors as he does in the recording booth. In an effort to squash the rumors, Rocky has linked himself to well-known beards such as singer Rihanna and Chris Brown’s longtime lover Karrueche Tran.

What was supposed to be a LGBT rights promotional bonanza turned into an awkward moment during MTV’s Video Music Awards when Rocky was asked to stand alongside gay former NBA player Jason Collins to introduce Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Mary Lambert.

But A$AP seemed very hesitant about sharing the stage with Collins. Instead of introducing the group as planned, Rocky shouted out A$AP Ferg’s Trap Lord album. When he finally did get around to introducing the group, Rocky pointed to Collins when saying the word “homosexuality.”

President Obama finally called the McNair school clerk who talked down a school shooter. The president called Tuff after he was dragged on Twitter.com for calling to congratulate Jason Collins, a gay NBA bench player.

Obama called Antoinette Tuff a Hero during a surprise phone call Thursday evening. He thanked Tuff for courageously saving the lives of hundreds of school children.

“Here is somebody who is not just courage, not just cool under pressure, but also had enough heart that somehow she could convince somebody that was really troubled that she cared about him,” Obama said, according to CNN.

“I think we might have to have her maybe make a visit to the White House,” Obama said.
