Gorgeous actress Tika Sumpter moved Arsenio Hall to tears during her appearance on his talk show Wednesday. Arsenio didn’t shed tears because she’s so fine (although I’m sure she has made grown men cry). Hall broke down in tears when he asked The Haves And The Have Nots actress about working with Whitney Houston on “Sparkle” and her comments struck an emotional chord with him.

Talk show host Queen Latifah was seen arriving on a flight at LAX airport in Los Angeles today. One of my Twitter followers says that’s rapper Nelly with her. If it is him, he needs a shave and a hot bath. I thought he was a panhandler begging for change. “The Queen Latifah Show,” co-produced by Jada Pinkett-Smith, premieres September 16 on CBS stations.
The 2nd episode of the much talked about Tiny Tonight show aired Monday (Jan. 4). Tameka “Tiny” Harris, R&B Diva Tamar Braxton and has-been rapper Trina had a lot to discuss about celebrity couples and Love.
In particular, Tiny, Tamar and Trina talked about their favorite couple, Beyonce and Jay-Z. (“After me [and Tip], of course!” Tiny clarified.)
“You never catch them in an argument,” said Tamar with admiration in her voice. “They’re always smiling, they always seem like they’re having a good time together and kickin’ it,” she adds.
Rap legend-turned-actor James Todd Smith, aka LL Cool J, opened up to talk show Diva Oprah about the darkest days of his childhood and the abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother’s boyfriend.
LL, 45, and Oprah, who turns 59 tomorrow, are soon joined on the couch by LL’s devoted (and long-suffering) wife Simone, 43, who remained with her wayward husband all those years while he sowed his wild oats — because that is what a wife and mother is supposed to do.
I thoroughly enjoyed last night’s debut of Tameka “Tiny” Harris‘ new talk show on VH1. After years of playing second fiddle to her former Xscape band members, and even her superstar rapper husband T.I., it was time for Tiny to shine in her own right.
Unfortunately, Tiny chose the wrong co-hosts to share the spotlight with her in the series premiere which aired on VH1 last night.
