Judge in Raymond vs Raymond Case Steps Down

Straightfromthea.com reports that Judge Bensonetta Tipton-Lane, who presided over the contentious Raymond vs Raymond child custody case, has stepped down.
In a controversial ruling in September, Judge Tipton-Lane awarded Usher Raymond full custody of his two boys, ages 4 and 5. Prior to the judge’s ruling, Raymond shared custody of the boys with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster-Raymond.
Following the ruling, Foster-Raymond’s attorney, Lisa West, filed a Motion for Recusal, accusing Tipton-Lane of bias in light of Judge Lane’s close ties with Usher Raymond’s attorney, John Mayoue, who contributed to Judge Lane’s reelection campaign.

The moment a man was shot in broad daylight on a NY street

The NYPD has released a photo taken from surveillance video just moments before a man was gunned down on a busy New York street in broad daylight Monday.
Witnesses say the man shot Brandon Lincoln Woodard in the back of the head then cooly hopped into a waiting SUV, with a driver behind the wheel. The light-colored Lincoln sedan headed east before getting stuck in traffic just yards from Woodard’s body.
But the assailant and his driver did not panic. The SUV idled at a red light until traffic cleared and then disappeared down 7th Avenue.
“There was no rush,” NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said of Woodard’s killer. “He just walked up, shot him and walked away.”

Usher puts Tameka Foster’s mansion on the market for $3.2M
This post was updated from an earlier version that contains the same information as present.
R&B crooner Usher Raymond recently put the palatial mansion that he once shared with ex-wife Tameka Raymond on the market — and he’s giving her 60 days to vacate the premises.
Public records show the 33-year-old singer purchased the 12,445 square foot, 6 bedroom, 8 bath mansion in Roswell in 2007 (the year he married Tameka) for $3,040,000. The value of the home has dropped over a million dollars in recent years. But Usher is listing the home at $3.2 million.
Usher filed for divorce from Tameka in 2009 after living apart for over a year. He allowed Tameka to live in the mansion with their sons, 4 and 3, and her sons from previous relationships for a few years. But the terms of their divorce allows Usher to sell the mansion at will.
Friends say Usher was tired of sinking thousands of dollars a month into the mansion for its daily upkeep. He wants Tameka out so he can unload the pricey property and cut his losses.
Judge denies motion for new trial in Raymond vs Raymond case

Despite a federal probe into judicial corruption in her courtroom, Judge Bensonetta Tipton Lane denied Tameka Raymond’s request for a new trial Tuesday. Tameka Raymond’s attorneys filed a motion for recusal in September. The motion prompted a federal investigation into corruption in the contentious child custody case between Tameka and her ex-husband Usher Raymond. Tameka Raymond’s attorneys allege a special relationship between Usher’s attorney John Mayoue and the judge.
Last night, Tameka responded to the motion’s denial in a tweet on her Twitter page.
