As a British citizen I was unable to vote in today’s Super Tuesday elections – but I heard most of you did! I heard the turnout to cast votes in Atlanta was huge. Analysts call this the biggest day of voting ever in U.S. history. Citizens of the United States overseas and in Canada were able to cast votes online for the first time.
Senator Barack Obama made up ground in his tight race against Senator Hillary Clinton and is expected to win California which will send the most delegates to the democratic national convention this Summer.
So far so good…I guess. There was no one at my polling place this morning when I voted (at 7am) but hopefully I was just an early bird!
I didn’t know u were a pommy!
I was at the polling place at 6:50 this morning, it took me about 9 mins overall, Great Experience overall.
I was very excited to vote today, I just recently became a US citizen and that’s all I could think about! It was a great feeling as I lead my daughter to the poll machine so we could vote for Obama. It’s funny how US citizens can take such things for granted. It should especially mean something for women and african americans whose relatives fought for this right.
I hope he wins!
