Polow Da Don Wuz Robbed

Atlanta producer Polow Da Don was the victim of an attempted robbery last night. I wasn’t going to post this story because he wasn’t hurt and it was an attempted robbery. I love Polow, but I’m not going to post a story every time a rapper gets robbed of his fake jewelry…

Then I received the following press release from Polow’s camp.

Remember as you read it that this is an official statement in response to the incident from Polow himself:

Yall heard about the situation last night? “Haha” They thought they came to rob me, but I have heart and I have God shawty… Nah these crack head ass niggaz I guess called themselves robbing me, but we robbed them…… I wasn’t scared I was mad. I was likes “these dumb ass weak ass niggas”….. Niggas don’t get it…. you gone have to shoot me because until then, I dont belive you. I am a MAN…. and 9 times out of 10 a nigga calling himself a Robba, a Thug or a Gangsta is a cover up for being too weak(weather it be physically, spiritually or mentally) to be a man. It’s hard to learn how to be a MAN… Luckily my teacher stuck with me….Thanks Dad, I LOVE YOU!!!!!! Kids…”Do you know where your father is right now?”

VICTIM!!!? I think everyone of your readers became a victim when they tried to interpret what that man was talking about. If he was robbed of anything, it was lack of oxygen and a few brain cells at the time of birth.

Interesting how this one man’s ignorant statement is some how the work of white women?? Are you kidding me? If he is ignorant, that’s on him, don’t put it on his choice of color on a woman. If the roles were reversed and it was a large white audience claiming that a ignorant statement from a white person came from their choice in dating black women, I can only imagine the comments that would be posted. Yea his update could have been more professional in structure, but at the core, what he is saying is real. No substitute for a Brother who was raised with his FATHER in the home. Most of these “boys” (see recent murders of college girls and killings in Memphis) were raised solely by momma. Men staying in the home produce the best most manly men. Polow is a cool dude, the statement sounds like something he would say after he got pissed off. I don’t hold it against him and if you know his history you would understand. Polow had his fair share of black chicks just as white. Just because he mingles with white chicks doesn’t make him less of a black person.
