Yesterday I had a spirited discussion with a friend about the ancient one drop rule and why most blacks in the post-slavery era refuse to let go of it. I’m so tired of hearing the excuse “because the white man says.”
Hopefully, Harlow will grow up to claim her entire heritage – not just the one drop part.
