UPDATE:
The search has ended for the 7-year-old Paulding County boy reported missing from his home this morning. Volunteers found Amani Cousin apparently unharmed, around 2:20 p.m., authorities said.

Amani was found close to his home in the Proctor Place subdivision off Proctor Road, southwest of Dallas.

Amani’s father called 911 shortly after 8 a.m. to report his son missing, Paulding sheriff’s Cpl. Brandon Gurley said.

Gurley said Amani was last seen about 2:40 a.m. at his father’s residence.

Amani’s mother had been notified and was assisting in the search, Gurley said. (Source)
