Quick! What’s the name of the actor playing The Notorious BIG in the new movie Notorious? Don’t worry, I couldn’t guess his name either. According to Wooohah!, the producers of Notorious are reeling from the criticism heaped on them for their choice to play the legendary rapper.
Biggie’s former manager Wayne Barrow – who is also one of the film’s producers – dismissed fan favorite Guerilla Black, saying he chose Jamal “Gravy” Woolard to play the part because he was unknown.
“Sometimes you have an individual who comes into a room and creates a presence,” Barrow said. “You can make a star into a superstar but you can’t make a star. Gravy has that. He has that in him.”
Where? I don’t see it? The dude looks like a down low butterball turkey covered in, well, gravy. Lol, maybe it’s just me, but how can a movie producer NOT listen to the people he is trying to get into the theaters? If Barrow can’t see that this film is a flop in the making, maybe he needs to give up producing movies and go into another field. He would make a great car salesman.
