My grandmother (RIP) used to tell me it’s easier to do evil when evil resides in your heart. I feel for the family of Jay Din, the 4-year-old boy who was beaten to death 2 years ago.
I also feel sorry for the family of his accused killer, Herbert Warren, who reached out to me yesterday with an impassioned plea to hear their side of the story.
I wrote back that I’m not interested in his side of the story. He needs to tell it to the judge. If Warren was so innocent, the FBI would not have had to track him down.
There are two types of people in this world that I hate: liars and people who can’t control their urges (such as pedophiles, rapists and murderers). I’m not saying Warren went around beating down children for sport. In fact, I also heard from a loyal reader yesterday who admitted she had a relationship with Warren who didn’t harm her child.
We have all had our moments with children who wreck our nerves. Sometimes it takes the patience of Job to keep from snapping. But it takes a person with pure evil in his heart to snap on a child with extreme violence.

The story that you have about Herbert Warren on your site is untrue before you try to take sides and characterize a person and demoralize him you need to get both sides of what happened and the truth about what happened. Timikia lied to you and the media: 1st Herbert has kept her son many of times and there was never an incident, 2nd when she met him I bet she didn’t tell you that he gave her momma 700$ to get her (Timikia) out of jail and hadn’t even known her a week, 3rd she didn’t tell you that our whole entire family came up here for the funeral that Herbert paid for and Herbert, along with her and our family, was at the hospital when jay din died (would a murderer do that?).
4th that he was still paying all of her bills and giving her money after the tragic death of her son, 5th that she moved on with another man shortly after Jay Din death as well as still engaging in a relationship with Herbert, 6th how she became upset after he discontinued her funds which is what the whole thing was about $$$$$, 7th she has been telling the DA for the past 2.5yrs that Herbert didn’t kill her son it was an accident why all of a sudden would she switch her story. She is a lier and our family knows her very well and we all are in total shock that she has changed her story and chosen to lie about the ordeal.
We all loved Jay Din and have all been hurt by his tragic death but we would sacrifice our lives to prove that Herbert didn’t murder her son. That’s not in his character and the thought would never cross his mind in 1million years. Herbert was never a fugitive which is why his friend was not arrested the DA just added another charge in order to rearrest him. After he posted bond in 2006 he remained in Atlanta while working at a cabinet building company so the fact that he fled and is a danger to society is untrue.
He has dated women with children and has children of his own in which he has never harmed or even yelled at. I urge you to contact our family to get our side. please feel free to email me back so that we can talk and my cousin (his sister) can give you our side, the accurate side about the situation. I understand that Timikia is hurting because of the tragic loss of her son as we all are but that is no reason for her to hurt us. She is not as innocent as she is making herself out to seem. Trust me!!!!!
