As some of you know, sohh.com – the 2nd most popular Hip-Hop Internet site – was crippled on Friday (6/27) by a particularly malicious brute force attack and defacement of its main page and forums. The attack caused the owners to take the site offline for 4 days. Contrary to online reports, the attacks were not a part of a coordinated effort against ethnic websites by “Hate groups” as sohh.com’s owners would have us believe..
Anyway, after taking a substantial hit to the company coffers, sohh.com resurfaced yesterday as a temporary blog while its main site is being redesigned (and probably moved to a new location). Hopefully the owners have taken measures to shore up their frontend and plug exploits in their ftp server.
Oh, and if sohh’s forums do come back online, it wouldn’t hurt if the mods actually moderated the forums.
