Irv Gotti show renewed for another season… why?

Thanks to loyal readers Jami, Courtney, Muriel and others for informing me that the girl is Deb’s daughter by a previous relationship. Irv raised her since age 1 and he considers her to be his daughter.]

It seems Irv Gotti’s reality show, Gotti’s Way, garnered enough views on VH1 to warrant another season. But how? I don’t know of a single person who watched that show. Heck, I didn’t even know Irv Gotti had a show!

Gotti’s Way features Irv, his wife Deb, and their cute kids Sonny and JJ. I’m guessing the beauty on the left is the kids’ nanny.

I hope this isn’t one of those reality shows like the one based in Atlanta where the couple have been separated (and living in separate homes) but now they’re mysteriously back together on the reality show.

The girl on the left is Deb’s daughter and they don’t give the pretense that they are together. If anything, Irv dogged his wife out through the whole show. I hated seeing the interaction that they had.

Irv actually dosen’t live with Deb. he visits her and the kids and actually tries to get Deb to start seeing someone, which she wont do, because she still has faith that they will be back together, which he makes totally clear, that they wont..

irv is a piece of crap and deb is just stuck in a fantasy world that she needs to wake up from. that man is no catch. she needs to get that self esteem up and start getting something own her own that she can call her own and move away from that loser mentally. he was so emotionally abusive in the show.

^^^^yea that sounds depressive, especially if she still had love for him, why would he encourage her to see someone else??? If anything he should allow her to heal by NOT visiting and picking his kids up and taking them with him to chill.

Wow … Irv had a show. I can’t imagine even wathcing it for 2 mins. He comes across rude and disrespectful in interviews so I wouldn’t waste my time. Cute kids!

I watched (ha, ha, ha), and I’ll be watching again. It was a alright show. Deb needs a little backbone and get her “own” life. I forget her name, but the young girl on the left is Deb’s daughter from a previous relationship but Gotti has raised her like his own. I was actually just thinking about this show this morning when I heard Lloyd’s song on the radio, I wonder how his album did.

Can’t wait to see this. The last episode when she finally broke down and realized that it was over was heartbreaking. I can’t wait to see if she actually moved on with her life.

The show wasn’t just about Irv. It was about his family life and watching Jah make a flop of an album, lol.

have some self respect ladies. if he don’t want you then move on. and try not to do it in a public forum.

sandra the show was actually good. i watched every episode and wondering what happened to the second season. he is the cocky p r i c k we’ve come to know, but the show still makes good entertainment.

Deb wasn’t dating or nuttin, but dude going about town doing his thing. They showed the heart to heart he had to have with the daughter because somebody at school told her Irv aint ya daddy. She said she always knew she looked different, but never gave it any other thought. Irv had a good talk with her and told her no matter what, he IS her father.

I felt bad cuz one of the boys, i think the one leaning on Irv, got real upset and cried when Deb told him they weren’t getting back together and she’s going to start dating other people. I think though Irv doesn’t live in the house, they were used to him coming by daily and leaving at night. Maybe they looked at it like he was going off to work cuz he’d tuck them in and all that…

it’s really a good show though. YOu’ve gotta watch at least 2 episodes this go around to get a sense of what it’s about.

i read an aritcle where she was interviewed and she clearly has low self-esteem…it’s really sad that she’s trying to hold on to something that’s clearly not there…you can’t even say he’s misleading her, she’s misleading herself…

i don’t see anything wrong w/ him encouraging her to see someone else, if he doesn’t want her…how many damn ways can a man tell you to move on?! i agree about making alternate visting arrangments w/ the kids, if she needs time to heal…i hate to hear about kids hurting when their parents break-up, however i think it’s a bad idea to try and make it work because of kids…i know people have good intentions, but it seems like it hurts everyone more in the long run (if both parents aren’t on the same page)…

Yea she should have never agreed to put herself in that position, that was not a smart move. However Irv had to influence the decision, only to get her on TV and help her humiliate herself…SMH. Ashanti probably got in plenty laughs too……..DAMN…..she crazy, I would’ve told Irv and his reality show to go to hell with gasoline drawers on.

The “Beauty” on the left is Irv’s stepdaughter, his wife’s daughter from a previous. I use the word step loosely because he has raised her and they gave a beautiful bond. Actually Irv is great dad and dedicated to his family, via his hard work.

As for Deb, I don’t know how to read her. She is a little more humble than most of the celeb wives. She doesn’t exactly stand out, other than her commitment to Irv, which from this perspective seems…..uhm….WASTED!!! at the moment anyway. Please believe they always go back to the ones who where down before the fame…don’t get it twisted.

In all honesty I don’t know how any of these reality bullshyt shows keep getting renewed..There all a bunch of poorly rehersed, scripted, garbage..I can’t sit through 10 min without shaking my head saying “how in the hell did these people get a t.v. show?”..I guess I came from the generation of real television and it’s just hard for me to get into this reality craze..I just don’t find it remotely entertaining sitting around watching a bunch of rich people do normal everyday rich people shyt.

I watched the show and actually thought it was pretty good. Irv is a trip. The last I remember, the little boy was having a hard time dealing with their potential divorce so I do wanna know the update on that. Also wanna see if they decided to get back together which will amaze the hell outta me since Irv made it clear he will cheat. At least he’s honest!!

You ever watched “I want to work for DIddy”??? As much as Diddy gets beside MY LAST NERVE…I really like watching that show. Oh yeah and don’t tell Auntie, but Im a huge America’s Next Top Model fan. Besides those 2 and Desperate House Wives (when its on), there is nothing else to watch except Law and Order for real television that is. Unless you like watching Fresh Prince and Cosby Show re-runs.

I’m so glad to hear this news!!! I fell in love with Deb. She’s so heartbroken about the breakup of her family, but I want her to find a new man. Irv doesn’t deserve her. Their kids have grown a lot since the last season and the daughter has morphed into quite the little beauty.

Irv’s show was cool. I like the love he has for Deb’s daughter, thought it was really special on the episode where kids were teasing her saying he wasnt really her dad (which he isnt) but he told her I am your dad and you know that. I love you……………. that was sweet.

Never watched Flavor, NY, Love Money, I’ve tried Luke, but cant really get into it.

I LOVE work for Diddy, and someone mentioned Top Model. I LIVE FOR THAT SHOW!!!!!!! Been a fan since the Eva season, which was the first season I watched. No one this season is really grabbing me so far.

That’s my show!!! Mr. Bently doesn’t try to make fools out of the constestants. He really seems to be trying to help them. Sadly I feel that none of the three remaining G’s deserves to win. Zenal and Kesan were my favorites.

The last G’s show was good with the mothers. I don’t know how to feel about Creepa anymore. He is sooooo annoying and a Bully but his mother forced him to be an adult @ a young age so is it really his fault.

I think Kesan should have went blow for blow with Creepa. He had no right putting his hands on him and no matter what he says he was not playing. I’ve seen Creepa’s MySpace page and he has not changed. I hope he doesn’t win despite the fact that I feel sorry for him for having a mama straight off The Wire. He didn’t say it in so many words, but if you read through the lines he was saying “My mama makes me take care of her with my drug proceeds.” That doesn’t change the fact that he has been a bully all along. And for sure Cee is still a con artist. I guess Shotta is the best one. At least his mama is quality people.

The best reality shows involve contests. I love Survivor, Fashion Runway. But I do watch the trashy stuff too. I watched this show with Irv and Deb.

Irv said it would be hard for Deb to find another man because he would have to give her as much if not more than Irv has. Irv says that’s hard to find. But really Deb is still in love with someone who has moved on.

In an interview Irv gave online he said that Deb wants another baby with him. Sound familiar? Well, it won’t work Deb. Change your sourpuss attitude and do something with your life.
