Republicans and the right-wing media are raving about Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, but Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice doesn’t seem to share their enthusiasm.
In a weekend interview with CNN, Rice stopped just short of fully endorsing Palin for vice president.
In a less-than-hearty endorsement, Rice declined to say anything more positive about Palin than “she gave a terrific speech” and “she’s a governor of a state here in the United States” during her interview with Zain Verjee of CNN.
Asked point-blank if Palin has enough experience, Rice said, “These are decisions that Senator McCain has made. I have great confidence in him.” Confidence in Palin? Rice didn’t say.
Rice added: “I’m not going to get involved in this political campaign. As Secretary of State, I don’t do that. But I thought her speech was wonderful.” (Source)
what ms rice needs to endorse is a HOT COMB ….
Condi can see right through the BS………she still has some black powers…………make her mad and I bet u see the neck roll…..
she’s a governor of a state here in the United States”

Condi really did not want to talk about Palin. That statement was stupid. I thought McCain was going to pick Condi.
LMAO…she’s not falling for that crap…
@ Anna – do you think Condi is VP material?
@iyonah………….I know you didn’t ask me but here is my pennies………..She is more qualified than Palin……..but supposedly McLame wants to get away from Washington’s way of doing things and bring in New blood…..I like Condi but she will always will be tainted by the Bush virus, Collin Powell too……..
lol @ 1.
Condi isn’t about to let Palin shine through her interview! She sure don’t sound confident.Sarah Palin hasn’t done with foreign affairs. What kind of experience does she have?Letting alone sinking her city in debt?
@ iyonah Says:
@ Anna – do you think Condi is VP material?

Not sure, but she is a bad ass black woman. Once I stopped judging her for being a Bush ass kisser and a Aunite Theresa I realized she is very intelligent and she is great with foreign leaders. It would have been a good pick on McCains part because she is able to blend in.
@goat my sentiments exactly. condi may be a republican but she is still a sista.a southern one at that.
she knows that pailin is not qualified enough to be number two in this country. she knows that she should be the repub veep candidate right now. but she is…well she is too “republican” to say it.
i think she just wants out of that administration as soon as possible. i think she is going to take some time away and come back 2011/2012 to the public/political eye. dubya has put condi THRU some major shyt these past years. ole girl is tired.
mcan’t remember better get right with miss rice. if he has her in his administration it would add to it…not take anything away. she is a force to be reckoned with as far as foreign policy goes but once again she may just want to be out of the spotlight right now. he better hope he can motivate her to stay a little bit longer….
she know better.
She may be salty she didn’t get picked OR she may secretly be rooting for Sen. Obama. He is instilling alot of hope and pride in our community which she is still a part of.
@ Anna – you make a good point about her foreign policy experience … I think she just might have wanted the VP nod but not on a ticket w/ McCain. I think there will be more to come from her in the future but she might be trying to distance ehrself away from the Bush admin as much as possible in the next few years ….
You can say what you want about Dr. Rice, and believe me, regarding her politics…I HAVE!!!
However, I have NOTHING but admiration regarding her INTELLECT…and anyone with a soupcon of INTELLECT is going to stop short at endorsing Palin…
Besides, Condi has enough karma to deal with…
MOST REPBULICANS KNOW THAT PALIN IS NOT THE TRUTH, THEY’RE JUST ROLLING WITH IT TO SHOW UNITY/HYPOCRISY..AND CONDI DOESN’T WANT TO BE VP OR PRESIDENT SHE MADE THAT CLEAR 2 OR 3 YEARS AGO.
