Sean “Diddy” Combs and his man bitch, designer Zac Posen celebrated his making the cover of L’Uomo Vogue Music Issue at a party last night in NYC. B and C-listers Cassie, Eve and Jay Z joined Sean and Zac to toast his achievement. Cassie is in the studio with Pharrell Williams and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins working on tracks for her sophomore album, scheduled for a spring 2009 release. We know you can’t wait for that!

Cassie needs to eat Big Momma soul food this sunday we have collard greens,cabbage,mustared greens, black eye peas, green beans, yams, hogmogs, neckbones, fried okra, corn on the cob, mac n’ cheese, fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, fried porkchops, baked chicken, hot water cornbread, mashed potatoes with gravy, meatloaf, with sweet iced tea etc.,

dallas you making me hungry!! we had a soul food place that had a buffet within walking distance…we would go on friday and every body would catch ni***itis when we came back. hell even YT’s. it closed a few months back and good thing….we actually do some work around here on friday afternoons now.

the bad part about the place around the corna that closed with the soul food is i would hit them up on friday…then cook some of that SAME stuff mizzdallas listed on sunday!! or go to my momma or sister house where it was cooked at (we take turns).

so i was eating like that TWICE a week! glad the place is GONE. so now come monday at the gym, i don’t feel so guilty!

when I would be at my grandma’s house in south carolina for Thanksgiving, I would be like what is that funked up smell in this kitchen, smelled like somebody took a load on the floor or something. Then I would watch people eat them w/rice and hot sauce and my face would be balled up the whole time watching them eat it.

chitlins is the one thing kdub WILL NOT do. and i am the ONLY one in the entire family (we are from ‘bama, so we are at one with the swine) that bypass the chitlin pot. for years, since i did not eat them i was “excused” from chitlin cleaning duty.

BUT when i got with my husband now it is…”well your husband eat them so getcho azz in there and clean some.”

i told him i must REALLY love you, for me to be on the cleaning rotation….

I love all of you all dearly but you can’t just be eating anybody’s chitlins (shitlins as I call them). You need to do a home inspection at any house you eat chitlins at. If you see a speck of dirt move away from the pot. Hot sauce is a must. I have never had them over rice but I am not a rice fan.

chitlin cleaning is a rite of passage at our house. when you get about 14 my momma (who is now a big momma in her own rite) calls you in and shows you how to clean them. she goes behind you the first 2-3 thanksgivings to make sure you “got it” before she turn you loose on your own. i remember crying/ protesting “but i don’t EVEN EAT THEM” my first time and i was promptly relieved.

Yes ma’am it iz, and Im glad I never had to pick up naN PAINT brush…GOD IS GOOD…..Grandma Sweetie, didn’t like nobody in her kitchen. Cooking lessons were given during the week, not on Sunday LOL! So unfortunately I never learned to clean them…which is why I haven’t had any in a long time.
