A music teacher in California invited about 20 of her students to a private residence to film the children singing a pro-Obama song.
At first this video was posted on Obama’s own website some time last year. Then it made its way to YouTube and that’s when all the protests began. So Obama took the video off his site.
Why all the anger and protests, you ask?
Well, from what I can gather, some kooks on YouTube seized upon the opportunity to compare this video with the Nazi propaganda videos featuring the Hitler Youth singing Hitler’s praises in the 1940s.
Maybe the intense scrutiny surrounding the video is due to the deception involved in the making of the video.
The video was intended to simulate an amateur video of children spontaneously breaking out into song. But in the fairness of disclosure, the Obama camp posted all the names of the crew involved in shooting the video. It turns out there were 22 crew members in all (not including the children).
Not only that, but the “private residence” was designed to look like the interior of a classroom. Critics point out that the video had the feel of a big-budget production paid for by….
As a result of the vicious attacks and hoopla, it is difficult to find the original video on YouTube amid all the Nazi propaganda videos. Oh, and Bill O’Reilly aired this video on his show last night. So expect even more drama.
