Seening how SOME “black” people will rise to any occasion to try and marginalize what real, conscious Black people are trying to do… Some people are just plain idiots and can’t even remotely grasp the concept of broad appeal.
The man is trying to be OUR President. The first Black President, do you honestly think he’s going to accomplish that by limiting his scope and appeal to only Blacks? Sure white candidates can get away with this as they’ve been the only ones allowed to play in the games until now.
So based on this fact, it will take a very concerted effort by all real thinking Americans, Black, White, Red, Brown and Yellow, who are honestly tired of all the stupidity that is so pervasive in American society today.
But end game, seeing so many “blacks” so anxious and willing to find fault in a honest Black man, comes as no real surprise to me. Being a Black man in managment in corporate America for going on 15 years now, as I look back, most of those who tried to do harm towards my path have sadly in fact been “black”…
That Slave mentality is something that some blacks just refuse to let go of. i wish my father-in-law would get up off of his rusty crusty azz and pay for something for HIS wife (my mother in law). so she can stop calling us for money. she starts calling both of us TWO days before payday roll around. to get in her ask early. she has no insurance and i am starting to be convinced she is making up ailments to keep our $$ rolling in right regular. i have been thinking about making her produce a doctor’s note before we release funds to her begging azz.

This infomercial was not about race, but about EVERYONE’S economic struggle RIGHT NOW. He may have showed some white folks struggling, but what who can not relate to their struggles (black, white or brown)? I was in tears (maybe because I am sensitive like that). Actually, the black couple had me in tears because it’s scary. I live from pay check to pay check and I have a masters degree. i wish my father-in-law would get up off of his rusty crusty azz and pay for something for HIS wife (my mother in law). so she can stop calling us for money. she starts calling both of us TWO days before payday roll around. to get in her ask early. she has no insurance and i am starting to be convinced she is making up ailments to keep our $$ rolling in right regular. i have been thinking about making her produce a doctor’s note before we release funds to her begging azz.

The program had a diverse group of people. Blacks, whites, and hispanics. I thought “O” presented himself as a geninuely concerned person. They talked about the topics which the American peole feel are the most important. The war and the economy, mostly. Being a US Marine, and a proud Obama support I agree with him and his stance on such issues. I wish that people would stop insisting that this man is black enough. This infomercial was not about race, but about EVERYONE’S economic struggle RIGHT NOW. He may have showed some white folks struggling, but what who can not relate to their struggles (black, white or brown)? I was in tears (maybe because I am sensitive like that). I enjoyed the entire 30 minutes. Step outside of the box, for ONCE.
He did have all races in the clip.

Actually, the black couple had me in tears because it’s scary. I live from pay check to pay check and I have a masters degree. I have never been married and I have no children and the prospect of being where they are in a few years with no one is very scary. I was glad that at least they had each other but it was sad.
