Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta has hit the big time.
The show about five supposed “friends” who flaunt their extravagant lifestyles in our faces, will see a huge boost in ratings next week after CNN Anchor Anderson Cooper mentioned the show during an interview with Ellen Degeneres on Tuesday.
Anderson said, “Chile, I loves me some NeNe, honey!” Okay, he didn’t put it in those exact words.
What he actually said was, “Honey, I don’t even know where to begin with NeNe! You have to sort of watch it to really enjoy the fullness of NeNe”.
While he spoke, Cooper gestured above his chest referring to NeNe Leakes’ ample breasts. In response, NeNe invited Cooper to come experience the fullness of NeNe for himself.
In an interview with E!, Leakes said the text messages didn’t stop coming from friends and family who were watching Ellen at the time. “I told my husband, ‘You know Anderson Cooper? He spoke about me,’ “ Leakes said. “And he said, ‘Anderson Cooper? The guy with the white hair? No, he didn’t!’ We think it’s great. We love it.”
As for DeGeneres for not being a viewer of the show, Leakes said, “I need to update Ellen. The girl is lost, and she needs to call me so I can let her know what Real Housewives of Atlanta is all about.”
