The news that Wendy Williams sidekick Charlamagne Tha God was fired last week caused a stir in NYC where Wendy’s show is based. Wendy and Charlamagne sat down with MY9 News in NY to talk about the personnel changes at WBLS which included firing Nicole Spence, the staffer who settled a sexual harassment lawsuit with the station and Wendy’s husband Kevin.

Hogwash. I’m shocked Wendy is not keeping it real. She got all those people fired by bringing her predatory husband to work with her. WBLS couldn’t afford to pay that settlement and keep everyone on. I’m sure they can’t wait until Wendy’s contract is up so they can let her go too. I’d like to see her and Charlamagne picked up by another station. I love them together.

Charlamagne, is not a good radio personality.

He was just a good side-kick. He was real moody all the times. He use to always have dead air like he didn’t know what to do or say.

We do not get Wendy in Ohio either. Kwall I get the same shows you do but Michael Baisden is starting to get on my nerves and to think I loved him when his show first started here.

@ shunda .. i’ve NEVER cared to Biasden .. he NEVER lets ANYONE finish a topic when HE asks the question … I bought his Books from a yard sale and read them .. they are written on a 5th grade level .. and they SUCK .. I used them as fire starters in my fireplace …

Lmao at Kymystry that is why I go to the library. His show is the same every week. I can listen on Wednesday and he will have the same topic and the same callers the next Wednesday

NY radio is exteremly boring right now and WBLS needs to renew Wendy’s contract.

Call Wendy what you like but she has been doing this for many, many years. She is a brand now and anyone who listens to her know that she is a strong supporter of black business. In the words of the self proclaimed Queen of all media…. Everything aint for everybody. It is what it is.

Yep we get Baisden. Does MoNique have a good show? She was in for one of our dj’s when Gerald Levert died. She kept talking about her hubby. I hope she has gotten better.

She aiight. I only listen for the drive home, which is about 30 mins. She’s ALLLLLLLLLWAYS talking about her husband, Sid. They even have a segment called “bathroom talk”.

After the TJMS goes off .. i’m listening to my mp3 anyway … most radio personalities in Atl make my teeth Itch … Can’t stand Frank & Wanda …. don’t like Portia Foxx (heard her Drunk on the radio last year at one of Ryan’s many birthday parties) … Absolutely positively cann’t STAND the sound .. pitch and whiney-ness of Elle Duncan .. so I don’t listen to Ryan’s show either … and Greg street .. Man I really hate to hear when people get laid off. It really bothers me. I wish I could just help everyone. You know. We need like a fund for unemployed people man so that no one is hurting when that last pay check is gone and then that last unemployment check.. I hate this stuff. My broke a$$ trying to help someone else is funny.. But in all seriousness I really really would if I could. This stuff is getting worse every day.

He needs to take this opportunity to go somewhere and take diction lessons. He does not have the voice for radio, he mumbles and is not funny at all. He will not be missed she is way better without him.
And I have never heard of side kicks getting fired b/c of budget cuts, everyone knows that sex harassment suit against Wendy’s husband cost the station a lot of money thats why they let his ass go.
